A whole HEAP of weapons...

Heaps is a ****ing QB not a RB or LB'er. How many physically imposing QB's have we had here?

Never said imposing, I said impressive. And five years into a division 1 program you shouldn't have the muscle tone of a manatee. Sorry.

Go back and look at the thread where someone posted the final summer weight room numbers / 40 times/ shuttle / etc

Heaps had the best numbers of any of the quarterbacks.

I'll take that over looking at another man's "muscle tone" any day.

"Golden, Canes in a Heap of ****" will more likely than not be the headlines across the Nation September 2nd.

We heard the same thing about Freeman, ad nauseum, and CIS posters had Morris winning the Heisman last year.

There's a reason that his old school (a terrible program, BTW) decided to change their offense 100% just so he wasn't involved.

A+ post, man. Especially with the season right around the corner. Your angle on this whole thing is really unique and, above all, incredibly insightful. Keep it coming!

Sorry to interrupt the circle jerk but your'e wrong. Weis didn't change because of Heaps, he changed because football is changing (maybe Golden can take note). On the ESPN college football podcast he also said that it had to do with lack of personnel. Not saying Heaps is going to be great but he's not the reason (like you completely made up) that his team went to a spread offense.

I'm pretty sure MiamiVice7's post was mocking SmokeyRone and his whiney, mopey crap.

I'm not rooting against ANY of our QBs. We desperately need a good one to come out of this. We are nowhere without a QB who can convert 3rd, manage game, not throw countless picks, and score when it is needed against top opponents. Whoever that is, I am for. We have several that might be that guy; hope staff and pick right one. We need DTs to win the NC, but we need QB to get to it.

Yeah cause Ken Dorsey looked like such a beast. Lol!

And I think we can all agree that Heaps is no Ken Dorsey. Plus, Dorsey sprinkle HGH on his cereal and wouldn't gain a pound. I just expected someone a little more put together that's all. I actually think Heaps wins the job if Williams can't make it back.
