You should have asked for his defensive playbook. And overnighted it to Coach D'O and Golden.
These guys are miserable people, they live to hate others. Randy was part of the program, he has giving more to the program than any of these losers. The only reason the Shipiro mess was not worst is because of Randy Shannon. These guys gotta get a life, being a full time hater has to be taking a toll on them. How could one be that miserable?I just do not get the Randy-hate here. The guy was a great player, he was a very good DC, and a poor HC. But he is a Member of the Cane family for life.
STEP DOWN FOR WHO TO TAKE OVER?! WHIPPLE?! U CAN BLAME RANDY IF U WANT BUT "THE U" GOT EXACTLY WHAT IT PAID FOR .....THEY WOULDNT GET OFF THEIR WALLET....AND UF U GUYS REMEMBER.....IT WASNT LIKE BIG NAME COACHES WERE BUSTIN' DOWN OUR DOORS TO COACH HERE....COACH SHANNON WAS JUST THE BAND AIDE OVER THE CANCER....BUT HE IS STILL "FAMILY" TO SOME....MAYBE SOME OF SUNDAY MORNING COACHES / ATHLETIC DIRECTORS WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT CRANKIN' UP THAT OL' COACHING CAROUSEL ANYTIME SOON.....
Maybe he's our new defensive coordinator!
To be honest I would not hate this....I know many would agree that as a head coach he was not successful, but he did flourish as the DC.

Why is he coaching LB in Ark?
My biggest gripe with Randy was not being man enough to step down once he realized he was in way over his head as HC.
The job was just way too much for him to handle. Instead of stepping down gracefully while there was still time and talent to keep us from the debacle we became, he went all Nero on us and burned the program to the ground.
That being said. He can coach my defense any time he wants.

People don't just step down from million dollar jobs because they realize they are in over their head

Some do. It happens in the corporate world all the time.
Stop projecting your own beliefs on others and the world will become a much more coherent place for you.

name one head coach that has ever done it. That seems like a weird gripe to have with a man, that he didn't turn down millions of dollars because he didn't think he was good enough for the job.
