A play that defines Xavier Restrepo

Alabama is stomping Miami, 41-3. The entire team is being punked physically. A 5’9, no-name teenager steps on a field with five stars and makes his presence known:

Guys like Restrepo are always the same player. The mentality doesn’t switch on and off. He is a Miami Hurricane on every snap. Yesterday was just another chapter in the story.

All that young lion has done at Miami is show up every day and run is motor to redline at 150%.

Cut him and he bleeds orange and green.

The U is tattooed on his heart.

Stacy coley was a better receiver than berrios. Berrios really only had one good year, coley had like 3 good ones and a phantom injury riddled sophomore year. Restrepo is the best we have had recently though and is very consistent
Ok, thanks.

impossible to overstate how special of a player he is. he might not be a star in the league but i have no doubt he'll carve out a long career.

How has nobody given him the handle of XR7 yet? Us old school car folks will get the reference. He’s a gangsta without being a gangster. Reminds of Steve Smith in terms of his competitive toughness.
