A note of caution on the offensive line

I have been thinking along different lines - that the starting OL consists of 1 junior, 3 sophs, and a freshman and will return intact next year and 80% intact the year after, accumulating an unusual amount of experience working together as time goes by. I am thinking of this year in terms of immediate success, but also in terms of laying the groundwork for the future.

Sorry, but as mentioned Miami's O-line has underperformed for so long I have a difficult time expecting anything else.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Right now they are the epitome of "look like Tarzan play like Jane"

lol hey remember when everybody was like "OH NOESSSSSS! DID YOU HEAR KEHOE SAY 'BE A BADASS'!?!? ZOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!! HE'S GREAT!!!"

I'm as big on the potential of this line as anyone, but after the underwhelming performances the last few years, I'll wait until I see consistent performance on the field. With 3 new guys stepping into the LT, C and RT positions, there is definite cause for concern.

Hopefully these guys will live up to their potential. McDermott to me is a key performer. Linder as well as he was at the top of the disappointing player list last year.

so kehoe comes in we have a injuries, guys out of position...yet our sacks were 12 in 2011 13 in 2010...we had our first 1000yd rusher in 9 years...penalties were cut in half...yea I would blame kehoe

In general, I'm a Kehoe fan. How long his second tour lasts depends pretty heavily on how his unit closes, though (just like DMoney said).

i'm high off thermaflu or something cause I think the OL is going to be TOUGH! Especially once Henderson is in the starting line up.
