A note about Golden and grades...

LOL no one was concerned about grades until he choose Miami.

Word...everybody and they mamma is dogging his commitment now. It's really ****ing me off.

WHY DOES EVERYBODY HATE THIS U?

Cuz they know if we get the right kids will be a force again. They want to keep us down but Golden ain't having that. He walking the streets of South Florida, New Jersey, Louisiana and anywhere else screaming The U is coming back under my watch.

The grade rumors about AQ are BS. Its about one thing and one thing only. His commitment to the canes. Anywhere else and everyone would be saying he just fell in love with that other school. When its miami its oh hes got grade issues.

Kivin grooms was part of his first recruiting class so I could give him a pass. Thats very impressive.

I camped at lacrosse camp with a couple kids from Bosco Prep in HS, that school is no ******* Northwestern or Booker T. He should have zero grade issue.

Im not buying AQM not qualifying.

I thought the rumor was he had a couple online courses (or something similar) that Notre Dame wouldn't be able to get through?

Maybe I'm getting him confused with Sandland and the SEC schools...

I'm thinking if it is grades, it is something like this, however.

Don't we have the same admission standards as Notre Dame?

its something about a class (or more) not counting at ND i think. and i think ND is a little harder than us (would assume so since they are a better academic school)

In Golden's first two years, only three players have failed to qualify out of HS: Kevin Grooms, Angelo Jean-Louis and Taylor Gadbois (who had other issues).

That's three kids out of almost 50 signees. And that includes guys like Ricardo Williams, Dequan Ivery, Jacoby Briscoe and a few other kids who had rumored grade issues.

Just something to think about when you're sweating Bostwick and AQM.

Two other points on those guys. Two (AJL and Gadbois) went prep, and stuck it out (or tried to).

And two were so fla kids -- the two that didn't make it in, as it happens.

He seems to know what he's doing and isn't making dumb bets on OOS kids.

The thing I like most about our recruiting, actually -- and this is a separate point from this thread -- is that we're not running around Buffalo and Fresno looking for unrecruited linebackers in January. AG is focusing on the best local kids, and he's going OOS for difference makers and real needs, and doing so with a plan and early enough rather than as an 'oh ****, now what?' last minute scramble.

All of that. A last minute scramble with Randy was panicking and recruiting Washington State TE's from the Fresno area that Fresno St. didn't offer in January. A last minute scramble with Golden is flipping Jawand Blue from V-Tech on signing day.

No kid from a solid prep school its taking online courses. Or, at least, not the kind of online courses that get you denied admission to Ala-*******-bama. It's all a massive load of butthurt.

He's a top recruit, in one of the premier high school football programs in the nation, at an elite prep school. I'm pretty sure the school councilor and coach had AQM's ducks in a row.

If UM fans are buying the load of **** that scumbag ***faced ND fans are feeding them, then they're too dopey to talk off the ledge. I'll trust Alshermond over some dipsh1t ND fans with axes to grind. I'd say Alshermond is in a little better position of knowledge on these issues than fake insider ND fans.

I've followed enough recruiting to know that if a kid has grade issues, his list of interests normally reads: Marshall, West Virginia, Louisville, etc.

Not Notre Dame, Miami, Alabama, etc.
