Tried to do it again after it worked against Syracuse. Looks great when it works. Awful when it doesn't. Would prefer to just wrap up and get them on the ground in a 1-1 scenario

Agree, replacing Kiko will be hard. He was a little too slow, but still faster than Flagg. Popo is faster but not as stout or as sure a tackler. That's why I'd be looking first and foremost for a MLB/ILB out of the portal. I believe we have enough outside speed at the position. Need the box LB to QB the front 6/7.

Respectfully, why would you want these guys to move on? They provided relatively good depth and both got better as the season went on. Now, if you said you wanted better starters, I'd agree with that point.

i'm of the belief that kevlin steele was only meant to come for one year - others don't have to believe that if they don't want. even if people don't believe that, he left for alabama and nick saban so that's not really a "miss" in any rational person's mind

youre of the belief because it helps you sleep at night. he wasnt a one season hire. he didnt have the juice to recruit anymore. it is a miss bc mario misevaluated him and his efforts. he had a soft landing spot where he didnt need to recruit.

and it isnt common to cycle through 3 DCs in 4 years and they didnt leave for a better gig or promotions.

I survived about 30 years of average to ****** football before I finally had something to really cheer about but I’m still here…..if you’re a true fan you have to take the bad with the good and the great cause you’ll always have both.

I have to think that a real DC with a different system can make some/many of these kids better players just by a different system.Most of these kids came out of HS supposedly pretty good in comparison to the rest of their class so I can’t imagine that Mario missed on 98% of them so I’m hoping s new system will make them the players they were graded out to be when they were recruited.~
