Yes, those losses (comparing a loss to 2021 Utah to losses to 2022 Alabama and LSU) are indeed comparable.

You have to go all the way back to….2022…..to find when Mario had a better defense than Lane.
 
Lane had a better offense than all four playoff teams, yet he went 8-5.

Maybe that head coaching thing isn’t a good fit.
