A couple things besides obvious defensive ineptitude that lost this game.

-Obviously…You can't kick a FG there. Unforgivable. Maybe from the 15-20 I will listen….Maybe 7-8 minutes left I listen. But even then, you hadn't stopped them in over 2 hours.

-Only 10 touches for D-Martinez. It was clear the last 5-6 games that he's better than Fletcher. I don't mind Fletcher and he can be have a nice Miami RB career if he improves his vision and balance (not the easiest things, but just saying…He's not by any means a bust.). Since some early struggles with hesitating too much in a new style offense, Martinez has been an animal. And it was clear out there he was on a different planet today…And somehow Fletcher ends up with 4 more touches? D-MArt was turning the 4 yard gains into 8 and broke two big ones, although one was called back on a…

-Phantom hold…What the **** was that call? Ridiculous. Game-changing

- And I was going to try to ignore the defense, because it is what it is…BUT…Can we maybe…Just maybe…Roll a safety over the top to help Frederique?

- George is a spoiled brat. Pure selfishness. Hope it was worth it.

We don’t have a safety that can roll over there in under 3 minutes.

Offense scored 21 points in the first 17 minutes then only 17 in the next 43 mins. 3 punts as well as the fumble return for a TD.
We needed 50 points to beat Lou and Duke. We knew we'd need 50 to beat Syracuse. The defense did what we expected (gave up 35). The offense didn't. Only 38 points on a bad defense PLUS giving up a fumble return for a TD.

Defense allowed Syracuse to convert 70% (7/10) on third down. They averaged just under 50% all year.
 
It’s really the most Miami thing that I can image.

Blow a 21-0 lead with the best offense in the country.

Your best player fumbles

Your knuckle head hold over player from the previous regime that you give 100 chances to cost you the game.

You fail to set the edge 5 str8 times to end your magical run.

Dawson overall had a good year…But yeah these run and shoot guys, even the good ones…Are always going to miss simple chances to run the ball, and it sucks when you have a team/line that can do so effectively.

This offense, while overall excellent, both because of Dawson being pass happy and Ward's tendencies…Was good because it made the difficult look easy. But at times, Dawson still refuses to run it. Cuse couldn't stop Martinez.

Bingo, I sad earlier in the week, score and play keep away, we could run on them so run and put up points but take it slow and keep their offense on the sideline. And our defense from getting gashed.

they needed 3 yards. it was the right play, X fumbled it pass the 1st down line. Honestly, I wouldnt be surprised if x is hurt and playing through it. he looked in pain alot during the game.
 
I know others said X already. But that put us in a position to chase after them instead of it being the other way around. Also got to look at the pass protection. They didn’t create a lot of sacks, but they were able to squeeze the pocket around Cam a good number of times. Which led to some rushed and off timed throws
