Sounds like LB Jadon Perlotte is moving his visit to next weekend. I’m told this is a simple scheduling deal and there is positive momentum in this recruitment.

OT Jaelyne Matthews is a different story. His visit has been canceled. Mutual parting of ways.

Jesus…More OL high on us and hust disappearing out of the blue. Any input here?

Thomas, Addison, Matthews…Very mysterious for interest to just not be there.

I think that a) prospects see that we're set to some extent and b) O-Linemen-recruitment is really weird. Boards change here like no other.

Really odd.... I wonder if it is budget related/cost allocation? We heard rumors how perhaps Pancake was not living up to his price tag. If he is on the bench for two years that is a lot of dough that could be allocated elsewhere, perhaps hesitant to that for multiple guys. Seems like the theory may be 1. developmental guys that dont mind sitting and come cheap; 2. surefire studs who can make an immediate impact and you pony up the bucks, then 3. portal.
 
Matthews plays bad competition like Samson did. Im not saying he is, but he could be overrated. Also most of his highlights are on defense. Also could be he chose elsewhere and leveled with the coaches and eliminated us.

I'm sure funds are tight at oline. We paid up for Pancake and Francis. Not many blue chippers want to sit for more than a year so I get it. I'm really not worried until guys stop being developed or the portal dries up. Both seem unlikely.

If we wanna be an elite program elite programs over recruit both sides of the trenches every year. Portal can’t be depended on for anything more than a stop gap jag in the trenches

iOL:
- Seuseu Alofaituli
- Cortez Smith
- Kaden Strayhorn
- Isaac Sowells
- Max Buchanan
- Gabe Smith

I don't think we view this as a great Tackle class. I think Seuseu and Cortez are above most of the OTs we are after. I could see this being a 1 OT and 3 iOL class. Then again most of the guys we do go after are big regardless. And if they are athletic enough it's not like a 6'4" guy can't be a OT...
