A bit OT, but DTR chose poorly...by going with Chip & UCLA

Chip's lack of success at UCLA is one of the biggest shockers in CFB this year. Bigger disappointment than Scott Frost going 0-2 at Nebraska

Maybe it’s on UCLA, but also sounds like Pops doesn’t notice his son has an entitlement issue and is struggling in parts of his game as well.

HOnestly his dad needs to STFU and not become more of an issue for his son. All this crap yet that same coach is starting him really early in his career.

granted Chip was the only one giving him a chance to play QB.

I mean he could have went to UNLV the only other school to offer him at QB.

Chip is arrogant and his offense hasn't evolved since Oregon. The NFL figured him out fast and the college game has innovated far beyond Chip's basic HUNH spread. Lincoln Riley is the new Chip Kelly but he's actually legit.

Sunny Cumby, Lincoln Riley, my boy Kendal Briles... there are so many innovative and *FUN* offenses out there right now. That stuff is fun to watch, effective, and has to be so attractive to recruits. Hurts my heart watching those guys and then watching us.

We talk about running a prostyle offense and then come out in this weird shotgun formation.

UCLA is transitioning from a Pro-Style Offense to a Spread Speed Option offense. Until Chip gets the Offensive lineman that can block his scheme, they will struggle.

His dad doesn’t seem to be saying anything the rest of college football and the UCLA fan base isn’t saying.
A parent shouldn’t demand meetings with the coaches or anything like that. But I don’t think a parent surrenders the right to be a fan and make the same criticisms as everybody else, just because their son goes to the school.

Im of the opposite opinion.

I think family of parents should shut the f*ck up sometimes. You aint playing the sport for them. Its the most frustrating thing when I coached Youth Sports. Thank God, I dont give a F*ck and will fight a parent who talks **** from the sideline, then ill make your son run until he throws up and quits. You sent your son or daughter to me to get coached up. Not my fault your child isnt as good as you think he is.

Parents are awful now, just look at you tube sometime. It starts at pee wee level , then people wonder why these kids are such soft pussies.

They’re raised by people just as immature as the kid, they’re f’d from the jump.
It’s objy three games in and dude is attention whoring like a diva.

In the one video his kid is completely ignoring Chip as he’s trying to coach him. A true Fr ignoring a coach that’s highly respected in cfb for his offenses / qbs.

Welcome to 2018.

They can have that kid and his dad.

Ive seen 5 kids get kicked out of the Football program I coach in because of their parents. The guy that runs the program is a hood dude and he flat out told parents that if your going to talk **** from the sidelines or complain about playing time, take their *** to Basketball or Baseball because Im not dealing with it and neither are the other coaches, parents, or players.
