The team had a quick 7-on-7 session during the lunch hour of the Al Golden camp. Some observations:

- Stephen Morris is heads and shoulders above the other quarterbacks. His arm is as strong as ever and he's really tightened up his accuracy. Dorsett was his favorite target and the two connected all over the field.

- Larry Hope took an out-route from Ryan Williams to the house and broke up another deep ball intended for Dorsett. He looked much improved. Rayshawn Jenkins ran down another Ryan Williams INT while showing off his terrific range. Williams's third INT went to Artie Burns, who showed some unreal click-and-close ability in taking a pick to the house.

- Jamal Carter looks huge at safety. He weighed in at 205 and he may not be done getting bigger. Eduardo Clements participated and did not seem to have any limitations.

- Deon Bush, Alex Gall and Clive Walford sat out with injuries/illness.

They didn't work very long, but the biggest takeaway for me is that Artie Burns looks ready to play right away at cornerback.

But them boys definitely LOOK the part. Every one of them out there. All the LB's were huge and ripped. DB's were all rocked up.

Hope looked real good on a few plays I saw. Perryman and Kirby are monsters.

I'm hearing the staff is super super high on Burns. Legit 4.4 speed and ball skills.

This group of DB's (including the incoming freshman) are one year away from being a BCS quality group IMO.
