Agreed. And that's definitely a good thing. We saw last night how this team looked going into a game thinking they were the **** and so much better than their opponent. Gotta stay hungry.

We're not quite as talented as so many of you here on these boards think we are. We are really average to a bit above at many positions. Just because of good coaching and great motivation we're generally playing hard and not giving up. That, plus an easy schedule has us at 6-0. Yes, we'll bring our A game to Tallahassee, but we might be playing a more talented team, especially one with a true freshman QB better than our senior. Morris' arm is non-pareil but it's obvious he has a lot weaknesses in his game. I was a big Morris fan, but he is not the complete QB and I doubt he makes it in the pros.

I think the difference between FSU and UM right now is one more year of players brought in by Jimbo and not a previous regime. This year, Jimbo's 4th at HC, FSU looks like what I expect Miami to look more like next year, Golden's 4th.

That said, it doesn't mean we can't be them. We can. We just have to be more prepared, make less mistakes, and force TOs on defense. We can't rely solely on our offense or our defense with them.

My biggest fear is that Coley will call plays that, if our offense struggles out of the game, will get us quick 3 & outs and our defense is going to get tired quickly. I think our D can feed off of our O if we for once play consistent no it.
 
I think the biggest difference is QB play. Having a legitimate Heisman candidate does wonders. Crazy, I know.

One "legitimate" Heisman candidate(Boyd) just got embarrassed and one played great and still lost(Manziel). Let's Go Canes is all I'm shouting!!
 
Boyd and clemson was scared fsu feed off that.. they need to get rid of dabo I could see Charlie strong there...

Morris has not played well all year. We will need him to have his best game ever and no picks to start feeding frenzy. More important is we need lots of hits on Winston and big sacks. Without pressure and pain he will just wait for those WR to get open. This game will have hype like we have not seen yet because of the past. So many of FSU's nightmare ghosts live right on their field that I think it being in Tally is actually an advantage for us. I just want to see Bobby on the field for some sort of honor, then it is in the bag. We have not played a complete, excellent game yet. We will need it on Nov 2. Duke promised his mom to beat UF and FSU this year. One down, one to go. Helmets on Famous Amos early and often. Pain equals exhaustion which equals fear which equals defeat. This team never quits. FSU has not been had to play close yet. Noles DNA has choke all up in it. Are we better than them? I doubt it, and I don't care. It only matters that we are ahead by one point when the gun goes off.
 
Just thought I'd bump this. Zone3Cane asked us to show where he had sucked Morris's **** since the UNC game. Well here's a whole ******* thread of it.
