Don't get the feeling FSU is really even in this one. I think its all Bama/Miami. Richt needs to keep working mama and Miami needs to have a really good season. The first sign of any struggle and Bama will be in his ear that Miami isn't back.

It’s a battle but with that being said newberg thought that weeks ago and said Miami isn’t in it so I’m not buying what he has to say honestly, we can win this. People only saying bama is where he wants to go because he always says if it was up to his mom he would already be committed to Miami right now. Neal is just different from most recruits and is going to take his time with his decision period. He praises Miami even more than bama in his interviews. Does he like bama a lot yeah I’m sure every big time recruit does but you can also tell he really likes Miami a lot too and always have. His mom and other family are pushing hard for UM too

Not to mention that Corey Bender, who was interviewed prior to Ivins, said that he thinks Neal will end up at Miami. That you can see Neal light up when he talks about Miami more than when he's talking about anybody else.

Neal comes across as a smart guy from a smart family. He knows Nick Saban's Alabama program is a proven path to the first round. They have a decade-long track record. "Business decision" isn't just about bags.

If we have the season I expect, kids like Neal will feel a lot more confident going to Miami.

D$ made a great point that I would like to highlight. “They have a decade-long track record. "Business decision" isn't just about bags.” Bama recruits always come back from their visits discussing how serious their program is run. It’s about winning and going to the NFL. @DMoney do you think Miami’s message to recruits is anywhere near that ballpark? I see many recruits highlight about Miami being “home” but not too often do we hear about winning or the NFL.

For whatever reason Miami seems to be the only school where mama wanting u to stay home makes no difference.

Collins, Keef, Mathews, D. Smith.I considered that maybe they wanted to get as far away from their meddleing Moms as possible.

Rumor floating around FSU board is Neal is secretly showing up to FSU camp, but like kind of reported by others IMG staff is making recruits get signed out by a parent to leave this weekend. So I’m guessing a small # or none at all will be camping.

josh Newberg reached out to him earlier in the day and asked if he was coming and Neal responded “I dont Know yet”. Newberg noted transportation was already worked out i assume With Lucas and other img kids supposed to be going, newberg said it’s just a matter if he wants to go or not
