If u can get both then why not?
If u can get both then why not?
Kid is from the Fresno area where i went to college kid is not coming to miami.
He lives in Fresno.. I feel sorry for him.. Worse than Louisville and Oakland..Not even a 1 in 1000 chance?
Just watched his film on YouTube.
You rarely see a kid run between the tackles at the high school level as much as this kid. He never bounces it outside until he reaches the 2nd level. Looks like the kind of guy Richt would love to run his power offense. Looks like a load to bring down.
Kinda looks like a Bama running back. 6’2, 210 per 247.
OL looked like it had a few road graders. They opened up some nice lanes, for the mostly part.
Fresno?!!Kid is from the Fresno area where i went to college kid is not coming to miami.
I don't see this Barkley comparison at all. Barkley runs like a bigger Shady McCoy. He bounces everything outside, tries to juke around defenders and struggles to convert speed to power and gain tough yards running inside. Milton is a decisive downhill runner with plus lateral agility and excellent contact balance. He's pretty much the opposite of Barkley in many ways. The only similarity is they're both elite athletes.
No I don't see those things with Barkley at all...Maybe at times a SLIGHT tendency to dance too much... but when your that big and got those feet, hard not to show em off. And it's really nitpicking to even call it a tendency.
There are tons of people in the online draft community who have said the same so I'm not in the minority here.
.
Kevin Williams did in the '80's as I recall. A first team USAToday A-A. He ended up a pretty good WR/KR for us.A 5* reaches out to us?!?! That sounds crazy within itself lol. Hopefully the staff gets him in and make a helluva sales pitch...Get this fella on board ASAP!!
I see a LBTook me a moment to realize you were implying that Diaz will steal him as a DB, not that you felt Diaz would turn him off to Miami.
I was implying LB tho... If he likes contact, Manny gonna talk w him tooTook me a moment to realize you were implying that Diaz will steal him as a DB, not that you felt Diaz would turn him off to Miami.
Seriously have to question the memories of some of our "fans".
McFarland wasn't just collecting a UM offer. While he may have flaked out at the last moment, he was a Miami commit that was serious about coming to Miami, even though he had a completely commitable offer from Maryland. If not for the last minute "kidnapping" by the entire Maryland coaching staff, he would have been fine with coming to Miami, no matter what he says about how much he loved his hometown after the flip. I will forever be angry with McFarland for how he dealt with Miami, but there is no doubt that he was serious about Miami and was not merely using our offer to get other offers.
Kellen Winslow II did not "recruit Miami". He was firmly committed to another program, but his father wisely chose to block KWII from signing with that program over their lack of having black coaches on the coaching staff.
And DJ Williams was a consensus Top 5 national recruit, some even considered him the top overall recruit. He didn't need to "recruit Miami". By that point, Butch had become a very good recruiter (in addition to being a top identifier of talent) and all we needed was the mutual interest to be all over DJ Williams.
There are other football and basketball recruits who have had to contact Miami in order to express interest and to get an offer, but those three were not in that bunch.
With all that being said, I still think that Miami should be doing more to COMMUNICATE to the top 250 players each year. We have a coach who has coached in the SEC and who has a nationally-known name. There is no reason why we should not be gauging the interest level of all of the top non-Florida players, rather than finding out that a kid likes us long after he has been named a 5-star recruit.
That he did...Kevin Williams did in the '80's as I recall. A first team USAToday A-A. He ended up a pretty good WR/KR for us.
