5-star RB Lingard commits to Miami

He may have 5 star potential but he definitely doesn't explode on film like Duke Johnson did.. but he's only 180 right?I just find it hard to believe that at 210 pounds this dude won't be a beast... I agree with FlaSportsfan88 and a lil but with Rok... he has 5 star potential but that's a 4 star tape... maybe I need to stop comparing everybody to Duke.... to be fair I felt the same way about #1 RB this year Najee Harris that went to Alabama.. his tape didn't scream 5 star either.....neither did that RB that went to Arkansas last year...... I do like him better then Cam Davis, whooping Goldberg and Curry.... running back is the easiest position to project supposedly so if he's a 5 star I'm gonna ride with that projection

I see him only getting better. It's ******* crazy that he's only 16 right now, whereas James Cook for example is already 18.

He looks bigger than 180 pounds to me. Duke johnson tape was just so **** impressive but the lingard type of running backs(elite size/elite speed(for size) is how you win the big games imo.

Yeah I'm excited as **** to get such a high caliber prospect and it's good for us as a program...hope he lives up to the 5 star rating.

Yeah cook is 1 year and 8 months older than him yet lingard is bigger, faster, stronger and overall a more explosive athlete than cook

These kids have been getting recruited since the 8th, 9th & 10th grades. People like Cristobal & onion have known them forever. Throw in the intangibles of not being a winning program for a long time & you'll see we got alot to overcome

Straight lying to ourselves? You're ridiculous, man. Guess **** near every recruiting analyst in the nation is lying to themselves too. I agree Duke's film was better, but Lingard's is already elite and he's only 16.

So Dee, what would happen if Jatavious Harris committed to Miami, we wouldn't take him?

His WR Coach told me at the RAB that Harris would probably commit to us after Paradise & the only other teams he's considering as of now is South Carolina & UGA.

Also, what about Corey Gammage is he a take?

Gammage ain't even close to a take & far as Jatavious I'm just guessing but I'm pretty sure he has conditions on if we take him.

Duke was stud in HS and Miami most productive back, but... he never had the speed. Speed kills and this kid has it. Also this kid has a much larger fram to add good weight. Elite speed you can't teach and great size.

agree with u. Linguard's film is not that impressive. Lately, I would have Duke, Yearby, Noel Devine and Cook's film as much better. But, hopefully he is going to get better and better. He runs way too high right now. Needs to get better with cutting, or grow about 30 pounds with his current game to be dominant, maybe like a Gurley or Jordan Scarlett type. I think he can do either once he makes his mind up on what kind of RB he wants to be. Glad we have him, and hope we can hold on to him.

I'm over here laughing my *** off at these fools saying the guy looks slow. The kid easily outruns everyone with the exception of a couple good angles. He averaged over 11 yards per carry this year, and barring injury (god forbid), he's going to have a fvckin monstrous senior year. This fanbase is simply the worst.
