Fantastic news. What a way to start this recruiting class. Let's keep the momentum going.

I can see a little bit of Adrian Peterson and Todd gurley in his running style

Let's please not do this.

Saying how a person runs specifically when he picks up his speed is offensive? ****... cut the sh*t bra.... get your head out of your a55...

I'm not saying any of these running comparisons are wrong but so far we have Gurley, Peterson, Shaun Alexander, DeMarco Murray, Darren McFadden, and Edge. Hmm.

I believe he also visited practice during our bowl preparation while we were in Orlando....Gave him a chance to see our coaches in action prepping

Playing in the Russell Bowl might have been a blessing if it got him to interact with our coaches without having to travel...

Now they just have to fend off every other program in the country for a year.

I temper my excitement over recruits committing this early. But if it sticks, man what a get for this staff.

Kid is a great get. Has some ways to go before he is considered an elite track guy (his times are good but not in the burns category) but the fact he ran a 10.8 100m as a 10th grader is tremendous.
I'm still trying to better understand his other times. Specifically, at The Opening. His short shuttle wasn't what I expected. Not that he's all that shifty, but he looks like a tremendous athlete otherwise.

Lingard needs to be a constant buzz in the ear of the two 2018 Apopka,FL offensive linemen Ed Montilus and William Barnes to come to UM and block for him and N'kosi Perry.

Needless to say mat drills were quite intense this morning.

I haven't seen guys with Corpora Cavernosa as swollen as that in YEARS!

The Turk sent Hairy Larry to the hospital.

Thanks to Tweed and Zo!

Lingard is 2 years younger than James cook? Wow...

Lingard is 16 right now and turns 17 in may and cook turned 18 in this past September...

Lingard is **** near 1 year and 9 months younger than cook and has better film... yeesh

Gurley was super young for his year too

This^^^^^^

So what would you rather this situation be? A silent commit? We saw how great those worked this past year....

The only way to assure everyone that he's 100% coming is an early signing period. I treat verbals and silents the same. Never get too amped on it, til a signature is at the school. Because everyone after a verbal becomes a recruiting expert.

We all see how this story goes 9 times out of 10. Kid commits insanely early, especially in the case of his cousin 2+ years early. With Lingard, he's already highly sought after and he will hold what an offer from every major D1 program if he doesn't already. He will take his visits, because he should to other schools. People on this board will incessantly & moan at that fact because he's not allowed to exploit the system in front of him.

Half of U mufuggas was bleak as **** in the other thread.... gimme curry along with this dude and I'm good... if Cameron Davis wanna ****... he can come too....

He not from SEC country so not surprised we phuckin.... but let's hope he doesn't make another trip up to Clemson to see that 300 million dollar football facility .... y'all boys cumin way too early...he told us he goin to the prom with us and that we can go to the hotel afterwards we ain't really ***** yet even though I can taste the pussoir in my mouth... smells like water

B1tchassness, thy name is Nolevern

Well there's no early signing period. So I'd rather him hop on board now then not at all.

What part of

There will still be suitors calling, but he said he’s done.

“I’m really going to close my recruiting down,” Lingard said. “Any questions or stuff like that [other coaches] might have for me, I’m just going to have them talk to my uncle or my dad. Right now I have to focus on all my classes and track and stuff like that. I just need to keep a level head and focus on what I need to be doing.”

That's what I'm talking about!

Don't you understand?

Lots of blowhards just looking for failure when they should be celebrating.

Walk into oncoming traffic.

BUMP! Most of yall said it best, WE DEFINITELY FKIN! Lets Get It! Welcome to the U Zo and big ups to Tweed.

Too many complainers on this board. The staff just landed a commit from the best RB in the nation, and you are worried that the commitment is too early? How about be thankful it even happened. People need to realize this isn't Golden, Richt is used to pulling top classes in the SEC, he knows a thing or two about landing and keeping top talent. Not to mention every story that has come out about the kid has said he is serious, and is not a diva. Read the tea leaves. Stop worrying and complaining, relax, drink a beer and watch the dominoes fall.
