Who are we landing that's going to push us higher? Stevenson rethinking things. Bogle has trolled all year long and now Bama is on him. MAR has been looking for any reason not to come to Miami.

This class will be filled out with low 3 star and 2 star/unranked players.

I looked at Clemson's class (26 total) for comparison and over half is 3 star guys. And they have ten 4 star guys while we currently have 6. Still some kids on the market weighing options and is hard to predict what will happen. Maybe Richt fills that last coaching spot with a splash defensive hire. Who knows? Too early to be on suicide watch for some of you guys.

Good point Salt. Maybe ive been to pessimistic myself. Just the numbers are not there at this point and we needed good bodies across the board but especially OL, QB and DL and it didn't happen.

110%. Top 25 classes should be automatic at UM, barring a coaching change year. And anything outside the Top 15 should be considered a subpar effort by the staff (and by "staff" I mean any staff wearing the U).

From 1999 up until now, UM has only finished outside the top 25 in 247's rankings in 2011 and 2015 (and both of those were transition classes after the HC was fired). Our only other classes in that time period outside the top 15 were in 2009 (16) and 2016 (22).

So in the past 20 years of 247 recruiting rankings, UM has finished inside the Top 25 90% of the time (with both of those years being transition years), and inside the Top 15 80% of the time.

247 currently has UM at 35 (and that, coincidentally, assumes Cam Williams sticks, which seems unlikely as of today). I still believe UM will make a push and finish (just) inside the Top 25, but I sincerely doubt this class will finish inside the Top 15. This class is going to be subpar by UM standards over the last 20 years.
