They also had Bryant 50-50 w UF and I think they had Bryant to UF at one point t
Think you are remembering Jeff differently. He was OK at best but a very good example against your point. Charleston Rambo is an example of WR1 not Jeff Thomas. Both of them are so elite. Electric playmakers.
I think when ppl overshadow them, is because they are not big outside receivers.
However, in college, you dont really have to be big to dominate outside. Shoot, Jeff Thomas was dynamic here in his short time and he was small...and he played plenty outside.
Santana Moss wasn’t a tall receiver either, and he was deadly as a deep threat. Both of them are so elite. Electric playmakers.

So what was the reason he pushed his commitment back since everyone swore it had nothing to do with Miami
Deep that and WR1 are not the same. Their have been sub 5'11 WRs that have been able to play outside but few and far in between.Santana Moss wasn’t a tall receiver either, and he was deadly as a deep threat.
Preach, Nesto!!I’ll just be happy if the missed tackles improve this year…

All the more reason we need a WR1 this year Ray Ray and Bobby ain't it.Charleston Rambo also had a solid QB and a good O coordinator. Both better than what Jeff had. Harley was our #1 the year before Charleston, again with a better QB and coordinator than Jeff. Imagine Jeff in Lashlee’s offense. Ahmmon Richards is probably the last real #1 alpha dog type receiver we’ve had.
Incorrect, Jeff Thomas was a badass but played with a **** qb with a **** scheme.Think you are remembering Jeff differently. He was OK at best but a very good example against your point. Charleston Rambo is an example of WR1 not Jeff Thomas.

Um he never had more than 3 TDs in a season and never had more than 600 yards in a season. If that's badass No Thank you. Scheme and QB aside he didn't produce on the field.Incorrect, Jeff Thomas was a badass but played with a **** qb with a **** scheme.
Wasted potential on all sides IMO.Incorrect, Jeff Thomas was a badass but played with a **** qb with a **** scheme.
Exactly the infatuation with him is something I never understood. Especially with all the drops and fumbles at the most inopportune times.Wasted potential on all sides IMO.
Guy left about 1,000 yards in missed deep shots alone. He got WAY behind defenses about 6 times a game but Maweak just missed him/was a bad QB. Go watch the LSU game, he was smoking their vaunted DBs. Dude was a major talent but his off the field **** finally caught up to him and affected his play.Um he never had more than 3 TDs in a season and never had more than 600 yards in a season. He had potential but I wouldn't categorize that as badass. He also had a shít ton of drops go watch that Florida game. He didn't have the work ethic needed to be great.Guy left about 1,000 yards in missed deep shots alone. He got WAY behind defenses about 6 times a game but Maweak just missed him/was a bad QB. Dynamic?
the markets have gone up largely from 1982 through today with a few brief but violent downturns. It’s just the beginning. Once the jobs are gone they aren’t coming back. It will be automated or handled by fewer ppl who become ore stressed out in miserable. Welcome to corporate America, all while the top share holders and owners make larger profits year over year.
I honestly didn't think that Rambo was a WR1. More possession receiver to me; but we were so underwhelming at the position....Think you are remembering Jeff differently. He was OK at best but a very good example against your point. Charleston Rambo is an example of WR1 not Jeff Thomas.
