Bruh this wasn’t going to explode on them in one season… the thing is the absolute hording of talent they have been doing is coming to an end and no longer will they be 3 deep with blue chip players

Us, USCw, Texas and to an extent now A&M will be prying away blue chip talent away from Bama and UGA

You are correct that it is gonna take more than one season, but thats not what others said. Also, the hoarding of talent doesnt appear to be coming to an end. They have 3 5 stars including 7 total top 100 out 15 commits with a ludicrous average of .9462. I love our class and the kids we are getting, plus Mario has gone head to head with Saban and won on multiple occasions now. We will get there just pointing out that they are still doing Bama things.

Btw, Downs is an extremely impressive kid. Very humble kid and comes from a great family on top of being an elite talent. Type of kid you root for outside of them playing us of course.

The way this is air tight after he didn’t commit leads me to believe it’s trending away. Would be shocked if we land him…. But if anyone can change this type of mindset we have been forced to have its mario

If you don’t think this season is a step into chipping into their blue chip ratio with guys like Popo, Francis, Bryant and Wayne who are guys any other year end up at bama idk what to tell ya

Guys like that could have ended up at elsewhere as well. Mario stays in Oregon he naps Wayne and maybe Francis. UGA, Taint, LSU and A&M would be in on those guys. This isnt just taking from Bama, this Miami getting theirs. What that means is that someone else is gonna end up not getting theirs and the early returns says its not gonna be Bama.

No one said Bama wasn't gonna get theirs. What is gonna change is the margin of their class v others and just being able to stock pile every position with every player they after. Look at their OL recruiting and WR recruiting. That counts when you step ok the field.

That's the thing about bama, when you take a kid they wanted, they're in it for another kid who's about as good. We need to land these 5* kids we get a shot at, because our backup plans aren't as solid as bama's.

Bonsu and Miami have been tied heavily together and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the Hurricanes a 94.2-percent chance of landing Bonsu.

But with Downs decision to go to Alabama, Ohio State becomes a major player for Bonsu and can make the pitch necessary to acquire his pledge.


Doesn't say much but implies all kinds of stuff...

OSU really wants Bonsu. They wanted him before the Downs decision but they're turning up the heat even more. This is a dog fight with OSU.
