Don't need him and don't care
You'd think the kid would want the Miami visit, if nothing else, just to be at the game when we play the Trailerhassee Semenholes this year. Well, as the guy sometimes known as Paranos would say: "good luck to the young man." At least he's not a troll.
He doesn't necessarily have to visit to attend the game. There will be a ton of recruits there who aren't on visits.
One last note on Cyrus F'agan. I'm curious if he would open things up if Jimbo left for a job like LSU or Texas after the season. I don't think he would be as solid as he says is.
Another thing playing in FSU favor they have his best friend on the team, AJ Westbrook.

This arguement is so old. Stop trying to give people hope on these FSU recruits. Jimbo had opportunity to leave and didn't for Texas once. I don't see him taking it. Maybe if Saban leaves at Bama.
Only safety in state I would take over Amari Carter is Cyrus F'agan.

When LSU calls, Jimbo will listen. Totally different situation from UT. If Dalvin goes down or their QB's struggle they could lose 3-4 games easy and signing a brand new deal for 6+ years at 6-7 million a year is an easy financial decision. Don't overestimate coaching loyalty.
LSU pulled the plug on firing Miles because of the schools financial deficit at the time and the public outcry over Miles would be buyout during that crisis. Theyve since restructured his and all his assistants contracts to better position themselves for a coaching change.
Per 247....
"Probably not,” ***an told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports when asked if he’s planning a trip to Miami or anywhere else. “I was thinking about it, but I’m locked in on FSU.”
***an says he hasn’t been in touch with any other teams besides FSU in the last two weeks and after giving it some thought he’s decided to call off his other official visits.
*Will we still recruit FSU commit S Daniel Wright?? Or are we all in with just going after Amari Carter and that's it?
They're still on Wright, but with that said.
Daniel Wright is just a tad overrated. Great athlete but both times I've seen him live, he does not look comfortable at safety and struggled a lot. I am not the only one, multiple people have felt the same way. "Takes bad angles and not a great football IQ, awesome athlete though." What I was told from someone who worked with him in 7on7 settings for months and seen him in more games than I have myself.
He has a lot of potential but he's still got some work to do. Not as big as listed either.
Only safety in state I would take over Amari Carter is Cyrus F'agan. F'agan is so well coached and polished, he could step in and help right away for FSU or just about any college. Carter has more size and stopping power compared to F'agan but F'agan is more polished. Right now F'agan is better but Carter 'could' close the gap in college.

Wow. People on this site amaze me with their evaluation skills every time I log on , Carter isn't even in the top 5.

Never caught this. Lol ok.
Tell me what you like so much about Daniel Wright? Great athlete, terrible instincts. Seen him in person twice, he does not look comfortable back there at all. Daniel needs a LOT of coaching.
Name me 5 safeties you think are better in the state, I'll wait.

I'm kinda glad.
If the last two letters of his name got knocked off his jersey in the First Quarter of a game, I'd be almighty embarrassed for him to be running around on our team.
Hope for a nice achillies rupture. hows that for good luck to the young man?
