You'd think the kid would want the Miami visit, if nothing else, just to be at the game when we play the Trailerhassee Semenholes this year. Well, as the guy sometimes known as [MENTION=4597]Paranos[/MENTION] would say: "good luck to the young man." At least he's not a troll.

He doesn't necessarily have to visit to attend the game. There will be a ton of recruits there who aren't on visits.

Its free if it's an OV, right?

LSU pulled the plug on firing Miles because of the schools financial deficit at the time and the public outcry over Miles would be buyout during that crisis. Theyve since restructured his and all his assistants contracts to better position themselves for a coaching change.

***an says he hasn’t been in touch with any other teams besides FSU in the last two weeks and after giving it some thought he’s decided to call off his other official visits.

They're still on Wright, but with that said.

Daniel Wright is just a tad overrated. Great athlete but both times I've seen him live, he does not look comfortable at safety and struggled a lot. I am not the only one, multiple people have felt the same way. "Takes bad angles and not a great football IQ, awesome athlete though." What I was told from someone who worked with him in 7on7 settings for months and seen him in more games than I have myself.

He has a lot of potential but he's still got some work to do. Not as big as listed either.


Only safety in state I would take over Amari Carter is Cyrus F'agan. F'agan is so well coached and polished, he could step in and help right away for FSU or just about any college. Carter has more size and stopping power compared to F'agan but F'agan is more polished. Right now F'agan is better but Carter 'could' close the gap in college.

I like Carter and there would be no discernible difference for F'agan over Carter. Plus it's more important we get the best guys from SoFL than an area and school that doesn't consistently produce Miami caliber talent. Winning will attract any they do periodically.

Try to remember yall,in all likelihood any safety recruit we get this year is simply a plug in till next year. Frierson & possibly Jobe will both be playing safety & they ain't sitting behind nothing this year or next will put out.

I dont know if I would even consider Wright a "great" athlete. I was highly disappointed in his camp numbers last summer. Someone posted them on here and I was not blown away.

I could see that the first time I saw his highlight videos. Great athlete with a low football IQ. I've never been blown away by him. More than a tad overrated. Very overrated. ***an is light years better as a prospect as is Amari Carter.

I'm not so sure Jizzbo will be at FSU next year so we very well may see ***an in play before it's over. That being said, if we can close on Carter we are in great shape.
