Per 247....

"Probably not,” ***an told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports when asked if he’s planning a trip to Miami or anywhere else. “I was thinking about it, but I’m locked in on FSU.”


***an says he hasn’t been in touch with any other teams besides FSU in the last two weeks and after giving it some thought he’s decided to call off his other official visits.

*Will we still recruit FSU commit S Daniel Wright?? Or are we all in with just going after Amari Carter and that's it?

You'd think the kid would want the Miami visit, if nothing else, just to be at the game when we play the Trailerhassee Semenholes this year. Well, as the guy sometimes known as [MENTION=4597]Paranos[/MENTION] would say: "good luck to the young man." At least he's not a troll.

***an was never seriously going to visit, Daniel Wright is the one who just said a few days ago he's still coming for a visit.

Carter is definitely the priority at Safety for us right now, but we're going to keep recruiting kids until January if they show they're legitimately interested.

The class as is right now is top 10, but as the season progresses there will definitely be a few kids we add who will see us playing winning football & want to jump on board.

Oh well ***em they cant ruin our momentum with this petty *** news......we finna rape these boys this season

They're still on Wright, but with that said.

Daniel Wright is just a tad overrated. Great athlete but both times I've seen him live, he does not look comfortable at safety and struggled a lot. I am not the only one, multiple people have felt the same way. "Takes bad angles and not a great football IQ, awesome athlete though." What I was told from someone who worked with him in 7on7 settings for months and seen him in more games than I have myself.

He has a lot of potential but he's still got some work to do. Not as big as listed either.


Only safety in state I would take over Amari Carter is Cyrus F'agan. F'agan is so well coached and polished, he could step in and help right away for FSU or just about any college. Carter has more size and stopping power compared to F'agan but F'agan is more polished. Right now F'agan is better but Carter 'could' close the gap in college.

One last note on Cyrus F'agan. I'm curious if he would open things up if Jimbo left for a job like LSU or Texas after the season. I don't think he would be as solid as he says is.

Another thing playing in FSU favor they have his best friend on the team, AJ Westbrook.

He doesn't necessarily have to visit to attend the game. There will be a ton of recruits there who aren't on visits.
