4-star running back Kevin Riley has committed to join the Miami Hurricanes’ 2024 recruiting class. Riley, a star player from Tuscaloosa County High School in Alabama, is ranked as the #81 overall player and the #6 running back in the country by the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment marks a critical win for the Canes and further strengthens their 2024 recruiting class.

Riley, who stands at 5’11” and weighs 195 pounds, had offers from several other prestigious programs, including Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia, but he chose the allure of Miami after an official visit to the campus this past weekend.

The Tuscaloosa native will join fellow commitment Chris Wheatley-Humphrey, the Broward County speedster, as another running back in the Hurricanes' 2024 class. This one-two punch of talent not only signifies a robust running game for the future but also demonstrates the Hurricanes' growing appeal as a destination for top-tier high school talent.

This commitment is a significant milestone for the newly appointed RB Coach Tim Harris Jr., marking his second commitment since joining the Miami staff from UCF.The Hurricanes' 2024 recruiting class is shaping up nicely, with Riley being the 12th player to pledge his commitment.
