Not as down on this kid as most. I see a lot his "holding the ball" as a byproduct of the offense (a lot of downfield, long-developing routes). Theres a lot of impressive throws in this sophomore film. Throws quick when it's open, buys time when it isn't. Can threaten every part of the field.
Would be happy with a commitment. Would still look for another QB to compete though.
That doesn't fit the narrative. Try again. From Charles power:
“There’s no question McLaughlin is physically gifted, putting his athleticism on display during the event’s testing portion. The former Auburn commit checked in at 6-foot-5, 219 pounds and ran a 4.71 second 40-yard dash, 4.33 second shuttle while also posting a 36.5 inch vertical. McLaughlin also owns a strong arm with the ability to drive the ball downfield. In addition to having the highest athletic rating, McLaughlin was also the first invite for the Elite 11 Finals. Moving forward, we’d like to continue to see improvement with his accuracy on a throw-to-throw basis and his physical skill set transfer over to the field on Friday nights.”
So for the dummies that don’t understand what he said: Most talented guy there, needs mechanical refinement but is still the most talented guy on the field.
Huh? You’re all over the place with this.Y’all need to stop acting like he’s trash. He’s got a 2 1/2 to 1 TD:INT ratio with an finals invite to the Elite 11 after camping and running through QB drills . So the guy sucks at 7 v. 7 and camps so what? Y’all worship 7 v. 7 superstars like Mark Pope and they bust at schools all the time because that **** doesn’t translate. Macho already said when he played them he felt that he had no legit talent around him. Stop listening to camp experts and start watching film. Y’all be out here taking Ja’Marcus Russell over Aaron Rodgers because his combine was better.

Since when did Sitkowski throw more TD’s than picks at a 2 1/2 to 1 rate, have an 80 yard cannon, and get an Elite 11 finals invite? Or did you just say that because you thought it sounded funny?
What are you talking about? You’re the one getting hot and bothered because he doesn’t look good in shorts. @jackbenimble71 was there and just said his accuracy wasn’t that big of an issue. @Coach Macho actually coached against him and thought he was really talented.“ Moving forward, we’d like to continue to see improvement with his accuracy on a throw-to-throw basis and his physical skill set transfer over to the field on Friday nights.” from 24/7 stop getting hard ons for kids in shorts we need wins
Sitkowski couldn't carry this guy's jockstrap. I see a thing or two that needs some polish but nothing that can't be corrected with coaching. This kid is a big time talent and all the people trashing him will be the same ones slamming the staff for "letting him get away" if he signs elsewhere and blows up. I ain't saying the kid all world but he's FAR from what many here are claiming.exactly.
the name "sitkowski" ring a bell? beuller? anyone?

Everyone knew he was physically gifted. I believe most concerns stem from between his ears. From Charles power:
