I agree with that sentiment 100% he plays high right from the snap and against quality OL's he would get put on his butt for doing it. It can be fixed in most linemen but it takes a long time an a lot of technical coaching.

I am not impressed with this kids hudl tape. Coaches see something we dont see but if kool wants him then it must be for a good reason. I think they see him as a project and can develop him. He needs to work on getting up the field and using hand techniques to get around blockers quicker IMO.

At this point, it's pretty obvious Coach Kul loves him some 3-tech guys. RJ Mcintosh must be his favorite guy on the team.

He clearly targets interior guys with good frames who are likely to be versatile and are more athletic than they are powerful, necessarily. Since the days of William Joseph and even a lesser known guy like Tron Lafavor, who played DE at Gibbons around my time and transitioned to DT at UF (washed out in pros), I prefer these types, too. So much you can do with them in scheme at the college level.

I can see this kid going to VT. He's from the same area as Michael Vick and a number of former area kids who went to VT and he wants to study Engineering. If we can get him great but I wouldn't bank on it unless he's looking to get far away.

Vt isnt in the running. He is looking at bama, penn state, miami, ole miss, and tenn.

Tennessee is doing well in the '757' this year. Already have a couple top recruits from the area committed

Gaddy twins from Norfolk, VA but go to Bishop Sullivan in VA Beach. I'll take Breyon Gaddy but I think his brother is a package deal. Brandon was just a QB two years ago and just put on this weight.

Dazz Newsome. Easily one of the most underrated kids nationally. He never went to any camps outside of the local 757 area from what I hear so his name never got out there. He's all VA Tech tho...his pops went there and his older brother is currently on the team. Kid can flat out play, had a crazy one handed 103 yard INT return on my nephew's team.
