Total stud! An absolute savage! Kid looks and sounds like he was meant to wear the green and orange. Stevenson is the very epitome of what a Miami Safety prospect should look like. Fast, explosive, aggressive, instinctive, athletic and intelligent.

A must get! We cannot lose Stevenson. We must win this battle. No excuses! Let's keep Tyrique home!
 
He is saying all the right things at the moment and appears to be a front runner for winning programs. Canes must have a great season to keep him in South Florida.

Soooo you dislike or current coach for his ability to stack a roster. Thank God you are not our AD.
 
So, let me get this straight.

Throughout the entire interview he talked a about Miami feeling like home, only to respond to a question about what separates Miami from Georgia by saying "Georgia is not home." He also is well aware of the fact that we are losing our starting safeties. He mentioned that what he a coach Banda talks about the most, is him being in the rotation and doing what he has to do, only to later say that the deciding factor of what school he will choose is being able to "feel at home at that one school. A place where I can get in the rotation and come do my thing.”

He literally could not hide the fact that Miami is his clear leader, even though he says he does not have a top group. When he is interviewed by writers for other schools, he still struggles to hide his love for Miami.

His interviews can be summed up with 4 letters, .....CANE!!!

(Not the case with all kids) but the vast majorityof them when this is said about the sec is said because they know the sec is where pays the most. The elite mos know that better than all others. Than the big 10 than 12. Acc & 12 are similar in that aspect. Certain schools like texas & ou are head and shoulders above the others. Obviously thats not saying sone don't mean exactly what they say. But vast majority talk in shadows.

UM would have pretty much every kid it wanted without even trying. and that's the truth.

No is saying it’s ONLY about victories, but Miami doesn’t recruit against Louisville anymore, Miami recruits against Bama, UGA, OK, OSU...teams with a recent track record of winning AND sending kids to the league as high draft picks. That’s logical.

If you really think Miami as a 5-7 team (because wins don’t matter, right?) has the same chance at recruits as they do as a Coastal champion threatening for the CFP this year then I don’t know what to tell you.

I think its about relationships and dirty tactics more than about winning, u cant explain anyone going to UF or FSU last cycle or anyone wanting to play for Agolden. Its always deeper than wins, does it help? Probably but to very few but I notice when its elite elite elite prospects its never about winning. @Brooklyndee whos tied in tells yall whats its about and yall still dont listen
 
Just for perspective:

Tyson Campbell: Last year we thought we were getting him and he skipped/missed visiting the U with his team for a 7vs7 camp for his test but visited FIU with his parents to meet Bama and OSU.

Tyrique Stevenson: Takes his test and still visits the U with his mom and participates in the camp while skipping the chance later in the day to meet with Bama and UGA(Kirby, Mel etc) coaches at FAU camp. Then returns to the U the very next day to hang out.

Idk if we get Rique(even though it looks great at the moment) but I know for sure he appears a lot more interested than the top DB we chased last year.
 
We just need the young pups on the team to help keep recruiting him. Frierson, Ivey, Joyner, Blades & Bandy need to stay in his ear to help him realize that Miami is the best choice.

Georgia's going to promise immediate playing time, so he needs to be sold that he can come in & play right away, idc if it's true or not, just tell'em you can start day 1.

I got faith in Banda, when he locks in he can get the commit. Hope Diaz gets more involved too, we need the big guns on this one.
 
Just to add - TS said in another interview yesterday that Banda has been talking to him about immediate playing time. He knows JJ leaves next year and Banda just says keep doing what he is doing and the playing time is there. That isn't going to be an issue.
