"I think he's really becoming more focused on it now. Before there were more loose speeches going around, but now he's really looking into it, going online, looking at rosters, and researching schools. He's just becoming more serious about it." Bennett spoke about what makes Coley such a special player and how he has grown over the past year. "Just a great combination of speed, size, and athletic ability. He has mature tremendously. He's a student of the game and works on his craft as much as he possibly can. He just grew up overall."

How many times did Bennet have to say that the kid was immature but has changed? You hardly here this type of talk from a HC, even in S. Florida.

If Golden truly is the long term coach we've been waiting for, once we get through the sanctions, I am fully convinced we're going to be signing Pete Carroll type recruiting classes every year. That run that Carroll went on at USC was nuts. 5 stars stacked upon 5 stars. I really hope Golden wants to be like our Bobby Bowden or Joe Pa.

I'm saying all that in this thread because I think Coley's recruitment just shows that Golden knows how to go about recruiting kids differently based on their situation or personality or whatever. A guy like Randy Shannon probably would've got fed up with Coley a long time ago and just bag some kid from east bumble**** with no rating by anyone at the last minute.

feelings must be mutual, and timing must be right...al, make the speech...we lost two, others are looking, if in your heart you want to bleed cane, a spot is to any of the recruits

Been losing those studs at wideout. Coop and Watkins, AG tried to reel them in but something about this position thats been bad luck landing the big fish. Kids are nuts not wanting to stay home I cant understand it.

michaeldiamond74 - thanks for trying to contribute to the board, the effort is greatly appreciated, but we can't copy/paste premium stuff from other websites.

Yeah there is no denying Miami makes way more sense right now, as for Pender I wonder is all.... not sure if Gran would go that route

It sucks too cause I love Pender, but he is so **** thugged out in a Fred Rouse kind of way... some thug is cool, too much is not

I didn't even know much about him besides his star ranking during recruiting...and then I saw his picture somewhere in July/August. My gawd, that kid gives Eddie Johnson and GT a run for their money

Lolz yeah he is from the streets, he did something along the lines of beating up a chick and then stole her car or something before coming to FSU, its why he lost his spot on the Army game roster

Word is he is already making a name for himself around Tally, most think its a ticking time bomb as they say

But the kid is an unreal talent imo, hopefully he either never gets caught or grows up

Sadly him and Benjamin are BFF too, those two idiots together is not good

Don't that mean it's time for Jimbo to earn his check...and well...coach?

Not sure if stupid can teach stupid lol, Jimbo is a fuggin moron and possibly dumber than Benjamin and Pender combined

TBD imo

Now that is funny, thanks for the morning laugh.

I thouoght Pender was gonna ball out.

Still don't like Wilder at RB. He longest rush will be like 15 yards or so. Dude is not a RB. He's trying tho. Let the real RB's tote the rock and take your *** to LBer where you belong

Most of Wilder's runs come when the blocking is good, and any big plays he makes are due to him hitting the hole hard.
