4 more days for a Portal WR. Tell me the good news.

Can we not pretend like this kid sucks all of a sudden please. I'm not saying we're completely ****ed or anything like that but this was a miss, simple as that. No need to make a bunch of excuses. Luckily we don't have Manny and this staff will figure something out.

They are negatively recruiting the Fck out of us on this. Don’t spin this into an nil decision. He went to ole miss to play in Kifffin’s offense no other reason.

I think you’re right when you mentioned Miami is being negatively recruited. That’s a fact. Where I attended college is absolutely doing it. The reason you gave is wrong in my opinion.

Miami and Auburn recruit a lot of the same players. Auburn’s coaching staph are specifically telling recruits to look at the NFL draft at ANY position this year and giving that reason why it’s not a good idea to go to Miami. Not because of the offense or defense they’re running. Picture is simply much bigger than that.

If you want, I can give you another 4 schools that I know for sure are saying the same thing. You guys like to be as a matter of fact because you have your own narrative and agenda to support. The picture is much bigger.

Miami and it’s new staff needs to put a competitive product on the field and win games. The ones they are suppose to win, they need to win convincingly. Knocking off a team that you’re not expected to beat also matters. Getting your best players drafted at their respective positions in the first 4 rounds matters as well.

Develop your talent. Win games. Get your best talent drafted early. That only reduces the amount of negative recruiting going on against Miami. It will never completely cease. It’s a very competitive business. The good progrums and fan bases embrace it with a willingness to compete against the very best for the ultimate prize.

We lost 2 kids who won’t make NFL rosters. Everyone else is a year older. TVD will be better. The line will be better. Arroyo, Mallory, and Skinner is the best TE room in America. Adding Citizen and a healthy Chaney allows Rooster to be deployed much more in the passing game.

If we get into massive shootouts where we have to go 5 wide for long stretches, it won’t be ideal. And I want another WR as well. Clearly the staff does. But we should be able to be plenty good enough on offense with the kids we have. Good enough to win 9-10 games and challenge for the ACC. I don’t think there are many coaches in the league who wouldn’t trade offensive skill talent with us.

All led by what looks to be a first-round NFL passer, a coordinator who just won the Broyles award, and one of the very best OL coaches in the business.

Any coaches in the league saying no for a straight up swap? I think not. No excuses. There’s enough talent there to win the league. Nobody thinks we’re winning a natty. But that list is good enough to drop 30+ on anybody in this league.

We absolutely MUST utilize our backs & TE's in the passing game effectively this year. Rooster, Skinner, and Brantley will become very important for us this year to supplement a very meh WR room. I'm still hopeful we can grab a grad transfer receiver but either way someone has to step up in the addition to the usage of the aforementioned group I mentioned. Gattis will have to really earn his paycheck this season.

Sucks but oh well, I like where ppl are at with mentioning Landers though and hopefully something can happen there. Gives me some sneaky Streeter vibes

We’ve got a stable of RB’s too. I know Don is unproven but if he’s healthy I would run him and Rooster together with rooster being a big threat on wheels from a shotgun two back set
