4/5/24 Game 30: Duke 15-14 L

Can’t waste as many chances as we did at the plate, and certainly can’t give your opponent two extra outs in the 9th.
 
guy doesn't deserve to play if he's going to cost the team night in and night out. No production and he has as many errors as Jimenez

ACC play: .210 6 errors

Just cannot score runs, 8 in the last 5. Don’t think we’ve had an extra base hit since Scanlon’s game winning HR last Friday.

what has Cuvet done since ACC play started? it's emotional because the guy is a world beater against mid majors and d2 schools. But when its time to perform against the big boys.. it's a ghost town.
 
Also how many times did he have opportunities to win the game for us? he strike out with runners on 1st and 2nd twice

Problem is there is nobody to replace him with. But again I have no idea what he has done or shown you that he deserves to be defended. Kid is costing us wins and is god awful in ACC play. Men lie, women lie, Stats don't .210 ACC PLAY 6 ERRORS!

Hold on now. Your claim was that he doesn't deserve to play. Don't go away from that.

We’d prob have about 9 wins if he wasn’t on this team. While he is struggling and his errors have hurt at times he has won us more games than he’s lost.

Maybe just drop him to 5th and hope the guys in front of him get on so he starts getting more to hit.

What’s amazing is we have a team full of 1B and DH’s.
 
JD was such a lazy terrible hire. Still can't believe this team has now basically just run thru Morris whole staff to lead the program and wonder why nothings changed...

I was thinking it might be a good idea to move him down and see if it helps him out.

His error rate is pretty much exactly on the same pace as Yoyo’s freshmen season (he won’t ultimately be as good as Yoyo defensively of course). Freshmen at SS and 3B will make errors. Just something you to live with.

The last point really goes to what @Allabouttheu95 has been saying all year about how unathletic we are. Badly need to hit the portal for a good leadoff type guy this summer.
