Agreed

Jaylan Knighton
Key Smiff
Jordan Miller
Jakai Clark
Romello Brinson

Dominating draft boards

Wish we had Brashard Smiff instead of Damien Martinez this year!
Lol itā€™s easy when you leave off the nfl prospects! Would be nice to have Elijah Roberts and Brashard last year. Brashard would probably have filled the 21s role as RB.

For Ray Ray, I donā€™t know how good or bad Ray Ray is as a rb, I do trust my eyes with him as a returner and slot. Heā€™s bad there.

Werenā€™t you the one saying #35 was a beast and should have been playing over Restrepo?

You said MISUSED and insinuated there were all these examples

Just donā€™t be a ******* drama queen next time and I wonā€™t say anything

I'm sorry. As everybody knows high I am on Toney and I know he should start over #35

Just seeing this today and honestly am shocked and awful he looks. Is this a prank or what am I missing here?

Well, for starters, you watched an 8-second edited video clip with zero context of what he is working on and decided to draw a bunch of conclusions from that...

lol mannn your initial post was a little too strong and I think thats why you get some pushback. No one knows how Rayray will do at RB. Maybe he flops, maybe he doesnt want to try, maybe he becomes a poor man's Duke Johnson. I wont **** on the kid though, he works hard and I remember him being talked about like TOney being on the juggs machine constantly after practice. He creates no issues. If no one else can catch a punt consistently, I am fine with him as PR (that would be more of a coaching failure to have no one else in that room more electric and consistent)

But lets not act like the 2 NFL Prospects you named would have made a huge difference here.

Roberts was a 2020 COVID recruit I believe. mid 3*, no huge offers, signed to play with Manny, Banda, Stroud, Blake Baker types. He was always a slow bake recruit that was not going to make an impact until his second or third year and after his second year he dipped. I dont blame him. He went through a lot of coaching changes, different philosophies and different styles. By all accounts he came from a good family and decided to hit reset. He had 9 sacks 2 years ago against G5 and 7.5 sacks this year. Last year who would he have played over at DE? Maybe we dont go get Baron but he is likely splitting reps with Bain, Messidor, Baron, and Alston.

BSmiff did have 300 more yards than Martinez carrying the ball, but he also had 70 (!) more carries. He did have 120 yards more receiving but had more than double the amount of catches. I dont know if the rumors are true that he refused to switch to full time RB here and had to at SMU once he had no other option so Smith would have done the same amount of work Lyle did. Perhaps he should have been the #2 behind Martinez instead of Fletch but I doubt either make a real difference for us last year.
