How does having a good BBall program help the football program? Duke, Kentucky, and UNC SERIOUSLY beg to differ.

Miami is not an unlimited resource school like Texas or UF. It is foolsh to waste resources on a basketball program when the thing that fans actually care about, football, is dying a slow death.

This is not the same Shane Larkin. He is not taking over games, and he's not imposing his will. His 3 is not falling, but he's not creating any offense any other ways. We all get on Scott and Johnson and everyone else, but Larkin needs to get this thing going.

thought i was the only one that noticed...dude flat out gave up last game....

we also might be REALLY to guard offensively when he isnt on....Reggie Johnson is a walking turnover...and if u double **** just hand u the ball...Kadji u can just sit back. as he sets his pick and stay on him at three pt line.. as he is becoming a flat out jump shooter....clog the lane on durand.and dont give no f*cks about ne body else...

this team is tough to watch offensively because Julian F'n Gamble seems to have more offensive IQ than the rest of the guys not named Larkin....let that sink in....Ive enjoyed his game All year though.....

Rion Brown needs to go to the **** rack....as soon as these guys miss a three their confidence is shot...we need easy buckets....shooting 12 3's this half wasnt what was needed.

You act like it's either/or.

Kadji needs to take more shots, and Larkin needs to make more. I know it sounds dumb and simple, but really, it is.

That's because teams have started running two guys at Larkin almost everytime he gets close to the top of the key. Coach L needs to find a work around......quick.

I agree with both of you. While Shane is getting a quicker double over the last month, he's also missing his open 3's (which are usually 3-4ft deeper than they need to be). Not to say he's a chucker, but he could be a lot better with his shot selection, including some more dribble-drives, some ending in layups/contact, or kick-outs to other guys.

In this conference and our school size clearly it is. The next time we lose an assistant coach ask yourself do we really need to pay anything significant for a basketball coach at a school that is NEVER going to be a basketball school no matter how badly they try.

Goldenshowers, our programs (football and basketball) are self-sufficient. They have no effect on the other.

You should just stay off this board, you don't get it and nobody wants to hear your thoughts.

They are self-sufficient. So stop.
