Great throw by Long to end the inning with the put out at home plate!!! He saves this team at least 1 run a game with his defense.

I would love to see a new stat line related to RBI. Let's just call it Total Runs (TR). RBI's + and - impact plays.

If you make an error that results in a run, subtract those runs from TR. If you make a defensive play that saves a run, add those runs to TR. Also track the negative and positive plays over the season.

That gives you a good metric on the impact a player is having.

Yep. He got both outs in the 5th. Neither of the 6th inning hits were hit hard.
