SN: Bills released Ed Reed today. Would love to see him wind up on our staff somehow.

When they add that extra coach I think he should get the first call. This guy would be a huge asset for this program.

Good point. Hiring former UM DBs with no experience to coach here has worked wonders for us.

At least it got us Herbert and re-opened the doors to Heritage.

Sounds like Merritt even hates Henderson at this point. Hard to imaging a guy this dramatic and unstable is going to amount to much, but I'd prefer to have him here.

On a side note, if we lose Wilson, Davis, Edwards and Henderson to UF, what the fck makes you bozos think we will sign the great 2018 DBs? UF is circling the drain on a downward spiral, and if they walk down here and take whoever they want that bodes horribly for 2018. There will be better programs than UF looking to grab these 2018 monsters.

2 PM update

Henderson: Latest is trending in UF's favor here. Gators are trying to sell him that Rumph only has one year of experience coaching at this level, which seems to be bothering Henderson. A Columbus coach who just spoke with CJ just told me that he has not made his final decision and a Miami source just confirmed that he has not indicated his decision to them either.

Edwards: Brian Edwards is headed to UF as of right now but Miami continues to chip away. They are working hard to get him back on board and I expect for them to continue recruiting him through tonight and possibly into tomorrow morning.


Side note: I don't expect Tariq Carpenter to receive an offer from Miami, even if the Canes lose out on both Edwards and Henderson.

What would Rumph do to prevent Campbell from making a business decision by heading to Clemson? We'd have a chance of keeping Jobe & Hall away from Bama? If we're losing every DB battle against a program like UF for lesser talent, we all know how those battles will turn out against the big boys.
