There's just this overly soft & b!tchy constituency among some Canes fans who always have to cry whenever everything isn't perfect.
People all upset at Rumph because of Marco, when Chad is the Benedict Arnold sending both his sons to UF, especially considering CB is a spot of need for us.
How ridiculous & foolish would our program look if we fired a guy who was just hired 6 months ago, a week before Fall camp, a month before the season starts & not one game has been played yet? Smfh...

I'll wait to see the product on the field before any harsh criticism of Coach Rumph.

Yea it's not 100% because of Mario, but you get what you pay for. Mario and Tee Martin both top recruiters and getting paid $450,000 a year. Also what a move for Mario to pair Jeudy with Ridleys legal guardian, I did not see anybody on Goldens staff having the foresight to do that? Hopefully Richt's staff will change that.

Mario has always been a top recruiter.He was the top recruiter on Schiano's staff at Rutgers when they were rolling and ranked in the top 5 which was an amazing feat for that school and he was the best recruiter on Coker's staff landing guys like Youngblood from Texas who was a bust here but a 5* recruit.

I thought it was insane when I heard it. But that's what I've been told by 2 Bama insider friends and some other Cane fan confirmed this in another thread, essentially that JJ and Ridley have the same legal guardian and Mario had a hand in placing Jeudy there. No wonder Dugans lost Jeudy.

The only reason Mario got a job at Bama is because of So FL connections. Same thing for Shannon at Florida. Those guys are tools being used by other competitive programs. The fact Mario was even in the discussion for Miami head coach is ridiculous. He's done nothing but use Bama money to grease his way into the local HS coaching community where he can sell the Nick Saban brand.
