So all this fake *** info and targeting one coach **** can be put to rest.

Updated rankings. Searles is 23rd, rumph is 24th, and kool is 25th, dugans 53rd.

According to 247 dugans is our best recuiter and he comes in at #57 on the list. The next highest is coach kool all the way at #247 .

Miami only has 2 coaches in the top 300 of the rankings. Kool, dugans, and Banda have landed 3 of or top rated commits in johnson, dallas, and henderson.

There's just this overly soft & b!tchy constituency among some Canes fans who always have to cry whenever everything isn't perfect.
People all upset at Rumph because of Marco, when Chad is the Benedict Arnold sending both his sons to UF, especially considering CB is a spot of need for us.
How ridiculous & foolish would our program look if we fired a guy who was just hired 6 months ago, a week before Fall camp, a month before the season starts & not one game has been played yet? Smfh...

I'll wait to see the product on the field before any harsh criticism of Coach Rumph.

Didnt have to look it up its on 247 already. I rather have facts then spit dumb **** out my mouth like majority of you seem to do.

Not to rain on your parade but 247 coach ranking and crystal ball format are straight garbage. The 247 miami page is one of the laziest bunch of writers i've ever seen. They don't even attend half the summer camps in FL they use copy and pasted info from their national affiliates. So consider the information that's being put into those "coach rankings" is done by a bunch of guys who combined do less than 1/2 the work pete does.

The rankings is based on who the coaches are primary and secondary recruiters for and who commited. The better the recruits the higher your ranking will go. And i think its done by the national guys.

Dugans avg rating of the players he has landed is 90. So he is averaging right at the 4 star mark.

I get that i'm just saying that local writers who are actually putting in the work like pete are going to know far more about who the lead recruiters are than the 247 staff, especially the national guys. Even if Rumph was responsible for the guys they attributed to him do they hold him responsible for all the AH guys we missed? I don't think that factors into the formula. Anyway i'm not hating on Rumph especially for guys like Marco Wilson. Marco is from a football lineage and rumph's influence doesn't compare to marco's father or brothers.

So according to that list Coach Searels is the 2nd best online recruiter in the country this year moving up 32
spots ( I couldn't find him anywhere on the 2016 list) since arriving at Miami from Va Tech where he coached the last 2years. I think this ranking is skewed because of his days at Texas and LSU.

UM's oline class is good but doesn't merit the 2nd best online recruiter ranking, unless he can flip Leatherwood, then I say crown Coach Searel's.

Their best recruiter is actually probably Tosh Lupoi, who probably shouldn't even be allowed to coach. Dude was toxic with the NCAA and Bama scooped him up like it was nothing.

Surprised they haven't made room for Trooper Taylor of Joker Phillips on staff somewhere.
