I know but what am saying, the numbers from last cycle....UGA and A&M took 30 players, Bama took 26 and Texas took 28. That's 4 of the top 5. So what am saying is they been taking alot of players. Thats over 100 players between 4 schools, add Ohio who took 21 and the other schools like us and Tennessee who started bleeding into the elite kids and thats pretty much all the elite kids gone. So then there wont be alot of elite kids left over to bloat the class and get rid of kids on the roster. I mean not more than what they are doing already. Maybe 33 instead of 30.
Right, and they did all that with a "25 cap." Now imagine with that regulator removed? The top programs will take more of the best players and everyone below will suffer. ****, we could see a 40 kids class one day.
Remember everyone's board is different too. There are a LOT of really good football players in the 400-1000 range that top programs would love to make room for. Especially because some of those kids will beat out some top 100 kids. Look at 2/3 of our TE's we just got commits from and look at who else offered them. Stack. Chips. More competition, means fewer roster holes.
Let's make it very simple: top programs sign full classes every year and run out of room and turn kids away. Now, they will simply be able to bring in more.
