And here come the racists smh. When teams hire a crappy white coach and unjustly give him a contract extension (Al Golden) no one says it was a white privilege hire but when a team hires a bad black coach the racists say it was affirmative action hire (implying the black coach never deserved the job in the first place).
 
Million a game. Man. I only hope they go on a run of subpar coaches like we did.

That said, I still believe that an off probation and at full scholarship Miami is a better team than FSU. I think history agrees.

With all due respect. he didn't deserve the job. He had a career losing record.

Dude is a winner. I'm sure it was hard to hide his smile when the AD said, "I'm sorry I have to give you 17 million to leave Tallahassee." Now he can go to a FCS with money in the bank, no stress, and probably win a few championships there.
 
This is what social media has created for some schools, most of which have people running athletic departments that are delusional. Win at all costs FSU isn't losing because of Taggart. Say what you will, Taggart is a good coach and a class act. He was embarrassed by the players he inherited who are undisciplined , low character guys brought in by a coach looking to leave. Jimbo will never win at A&M and they have more money that anyone to spend on football.
 
Good for him and his family... dont doubt he didnt give it everything he had at every stop...
hes just not a top level HC and thats fine... its on each one of those ADs who made that hire

I have never understood how in the world Jimbo doesn’t seem to take any hit at all at A&M for what FSU was when he ditched his Xmas tree in the yard and left. It was his mess. I would be freaked that history will repeat itself.

jimbo ran into the same problem that had Meyer running from UF and doomed Coker at UM.

He brought in the WRONG Florida kids. Just going off rankings and loaded that team up with entitled bust.

His goodbye tweet was super pro FSU. I kept thinking he was thinking or telling his wife, “WE GOT 17 MILLION DOLLARS, 17 FREAKING MIL” as he typed it up. Best holiday season ever.
