Arroyo, X and Rivers is a really nice trio of homegrown talent. Elijah and X are getting drafted of course and it seems Rivers is on his way as well, maybe somewhere in the round 5-7 range? While I don’t know if Jalen will be a decade-plus starter type, he’s got a ton of versatility and he seems like one of those players that can hang around for a nice long career.
X is going to produce and be reliable, I’m really interested to see his testing numbers.
Arroyo on the other hand, I can see him being a legit star. He’s got the upside to be one of the best TE’s in the league IMO. Watching his clips, if you didn’t know any better you would think he’s a WR. He also measured better than I expected - 6’4 1/2” 251 lbs and was top 3 in both arm length and wingspan at the position. The only thing that may hold him back in terms of draft slot is his medical history and that there was no production until this past season. But if he runs sub 4.6 and has great jumping/leaping numbers at the combine he may surpass Loveland as the #2 TE and sneak into the 1st round.
That would be an elite 40 and probably would give him a ton of hype with potential to go in the 1st round. But there's only been one draft where 3 tight ends have been drafted in the first (2017 with OJ Howard, Evan Engram, and David Njoku). If Arroyo runs a 4.5 it’s first round unless you want to live in regret like as a GM/Scout.

Warren is a sure fire lock as the 1st TE off the board. I don't think he'll pass Loveland up either.
I do think a good 40 time all but locks him up to be the 3rd TE selected but he probably goes early in the 2nd.
The one dream scenario could be the Eagles feeling like they have solid depth across just about all of their position rooms. Why not take a shot on a guy like Arroyo who has a realistic upside at being the best TE in the class but probably won't be available in the late 2nd.

Tough year to move up the TE board. When we recruited this kid we all said tes arent supposed to move in n out of cuts like he does....only the elite pass catchers at tes do....
the crazy thing is...he aint a pu$$y like Mike Gisecki n other receiving tes ..elijah aint afraid to mix it up blocking.

Tyler BaronOn the tweet to the left, who is the 3rd guy he said hi to?
His Combine testing will be nuts... He ran by everyone today. Its only up from here with Arroyo...the one negative is injury history but then UM Pedigree at the position may be able to negate that somewhat. He played on a team that had 2 other nfl tes.
Hes definitely put himself in the top 5 at his position consideration and climbing and this is a deep te class.
**** be gone between 2-4 round
ArroyoThese are the type of Canes I grew up on. Mario is really checking off the miscellaneous superlatives on the "how to bring a program back" initiative.
Not terrible for a bunch of Manny guysU Helmets everywhere, we really did lose a ton of talent this year.
