2025 Season Opener at home vs Notre Dame

Not very difficult to imagine Mario sitting in front of the #1 ranked portal QB and saying, “brother…your 2025 Heisman campaign kickoffs against Notre Dame in prime time and in front of a sold out Hard Rock Stadium.”

It’s always about recruiting with Mario!!

Nice way to kickoff 2025, but it's heartbreaking to think about the fact that they were originally on the schedule for this season. Would have probably been another blowout, which would have given us dominant wins over UF, FSU & ND in the same season. In other words, a dream come true. Maybe we get them in the playoffs.
 
Good schedule set up would be something like:

1. Vs ND
2. Vs Bethune Cookman
3. Vs USF
4. Vs UF
5. BYE
6. @ SMU
7. Vs Stanford
8. @ FSU
9. Vs Nc State
10. BYE
11. Vs Louisville
12. @ VT
13. Vs Syracuse
14. @ Pitt

Their QB would have given this defense fits running the ball the way this defense tackles

No dates announced yet so this could fall on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. I imagine it will be primetime Saturday or Sunday (similar to A&M-ND and USC-LSU this year). Edit: This will be at Coral Gables in case anyone was curious, so major College Gameday potential if it does go Saturday.
