2025 NFL Combine

Yes, I do, but they may be the only 2 WR's drafted in the 1st round.

Egbuka & Savion Williams are also 2 high upside WR's who could get picked mid to late 1st.

But WR this draft has a lot more value in rounds 2-5.
Yeah I agree...WR class this year from top to bottom has a lot of talent with good players but not a lot of elite talent, as compared to last years.

It's crazy actually because many of these guys have pretty good numbers (stats) but the WR position this year never seemed to catch it's stride for whatever the reason.

Prime example is Travis Hunter won the B-award as the best WR and he'll be playing CB for the most part...weird year

I also need to know if we are taking quality into consideration in this question. Is Hunter just doing it in the NFL the bar? Because what makes Ohtani so incredible is he is legitimately the best hitter in baseball and a top 5 pitcher. MVP quality offense and Cy Young quality pitching. So Hunter would have to be Ja’Marr Chase at WR and a pro bowl Corner at the same time for it to track…
I don’t think people that aren’t baseball heads actually get how ridiculous what he’s doing is.

It would be like if Tom Brady was also a star linebacker on top of playing quarterback.

It's a 3 player position group.

After Emmanwori, Watts & Starks, it's a steep drop off.

Draft's per position is about quality depth in the mid-rounds. Like at CB, outside of the 1st rounders, you have at least 8-10 Corners that can go between rounds 2-5 & still be expected to be starters/contributors.

Same thing with RB, TE, EDGE & OT in this draft. They each have players who won't get drafted in the 1st round that will be very good players in the league.

Safety has 2 sure things & 1 boom or bust prospect, then the rest is basically just backups & special teamers.

Safety & QB is pretty much the same this draft; top 3 players in their group is good, but the rest is mostly backup quality.
I like Reed, Upton, Sigle, Mickens as well.

Why on earth would titans do that? For a guy with limited college tape, who tore his ACl and therefore missed 20% of his rookie contract value, and IF Vikings are willing to trade McCarthy and potentially more picks for Ward
, what should that indicate to the titans?! lol this isn’t like trading an older player
I wasn’t suggesting it and was commenting from Minnesotan perspective. I think titans are nuts if they don’t take a qb and have it be ward

Hunter is not playing wr in NFL. He's gonna have packages to get him on the field from time to time. But cb is his position in league.
Hes Jalen Ramsey if he keeps getting dusted up here n there. He can be Champ Bailey if he goes on to master the craft.

And he's a nice WR prospect too. Brother, I put X @ 3 on my board...should tell you I think it's a weak class. Lots of those R2-R3 guys that end up being WR4 or journeyman or out of football by end of first contract. There might be a good one or two.

Hunter is getting good comps ar WR, too.

Oh, well yeah lol. Minnesota (and cam), it'd be great for. But I originally was thinking why on earth would Titans do it lol. They'd be idiots imo. Like if they don't love Cam, just trade down with Giants or Raiders pick up a top 3/6 pick, and probably a 2nd and future 1st...

This writer said that the word out of Indianapolis is Cam will be the #1 pick. It may not be Tennessee but no matter who has it, the pick will be Cam.

He says the consensus is Shadeur could go anywhere from #2-7 but a clear cut below Cam

This seems very obvious to me. Even said it a few pages ago lol. No way Cam isn't the #1 pick. The question is who takes him? Do titans love him enough to not trade out? Given they've already been signaling they'd be willing to just straight up draft Carter, I think they'd be more inclined to trade down even if they shouldn't... Are Raiders and Giants willing to give up at least this years 1st, 2nd, and next yrs 1st? That's likely what it'd cost. Imo I'd do it all day, given you're ****ed at QB right now. MAYBE Jets or someone could trade like three 1sts and two 2nds for #1 given they have a much lower pick...

To me it also is better for Raiders/Giants to lock up the pick BEFORE FA. Cause then if you go for like Darnold/Rodgers and you miss, you're REALLY ****ed, and the trade value has just increased. Trade now, and lock him up asap imo.

The problem is when people look at the rest of the draft to establish his value. His value isn't based on the class. It's based on what slot he's drafted in and what he can do for his team once in the league. I take things literally which is a problem of mine from time to time. But to compare Travis Hunter to Champ Bailey or even Jalen is flat out disrespectful. No part of this dude shows comps at that level. Champ was the closest thing to Charles Woodson since that point. Jalen was the closest to Champ. I'm their primes playing at peak levels they could put the clamps on ur #1 wr or Te and they could come up and knock a RBs head off defending the run. In the NFL that requires an elite level of physicality. Yes the game is soft as cotton now and it's taken away the need for brute strength at most positions. But what have you seen out of Travis Hunter that makes you think he'll be able to shut down an entire side of the field like that? I even have my doubts about certain aspects of his game at CB. I don't have any issue with the kid at all. Think potentially he's got tons of talent. Just think he's got a long way to go before he earns all this hype

You're giving way too much credit to the clown show that is Joe Schoen & co. The same **** tard who going into week 15 had the #1 pick in the draft locked up. The same one who told their franchise player to test the market with our division rival and check back with me. THE SAME ****TARD WHO EXTENDED DANIEL ****** JONES AT THE TUNE OF ROUGHLY 50 MILLION A YEAR WITHOUT EVER EVEN ESTABLISHING HE SHOULD BE A STARTING QB... Only thing that sounds like something he'd do out of that is after giving away the #1 by winning a meaningless game he then turns around and gives up multiple picks to get right back into the spot he gave away... God I hate that ****** guy

I have loved the combine and following our guys. And this isn’t exclusive to our players. But man, it really sucks the amount of guys not competing. Some guys doing some drills and no running or jumping. Or vice a versa.

I get Cam not throwing. I understand, but man, go put on a show. Why George would do some jumps and drills and not run a 40 just looks scared to me.

Again, not just our guys skipped parts or all of it. Felt like this year more than ever we had this. Feel like soon this combine will be a joke

The guys that skipped running and jumping were advised to do so. Better chance to run a decent 40 with stop watch than a laser. They made a valid point on the broadcast that playing more games and later into the year leaves less time for preparation. I expect it to get much worse unless the NFL shifts calendar.

Precisely why I wasn't overly impressed with Darien Porter.

Ran a great combine, but a lot of his athletic ability doesn't translate on tape.
Looks like he did well in zone as far as that production goes.
but didn't he also transition from being a track star in hs and playing Wr to start in college. Think he only played CB final 2 years or something? So very raw ... But Elite athleticism, Think was a captain multiple years even without being a starter and was like their top special team player...
Idk if he's worthy of early/mid day 2 pick, but there is certainly some upside paired with the fact he's likely to be a good team-player that makes bottom of roster and is good special teams contributor which kinda elevates his floor a bit....
