2025 Impact Freshman

247 just released their all-impact freshman team for the 2025 season. Kellen Wiley is listed at Linebacker as the ’Canes only representative. Who else do you guys think could make a big impact as a freshman for the Hurricanes next year?

Pringle, Lowe and Toney all have the chance to fee the field early. People sleep on Bryce Fitzgerald. He’s definitely a guy that can make a big impact on special teams, which could lead to some snaps early

I think Lowe and Toney are the two to watch. Especially Toney if we don’t bring in another receiver

Honestly, I don't see anyone really standing out as a true freshman this year. I'm referring to real impact.

But that doesn't mean anything because I figured OJ would redshirt and he's a Fr AA.

Our LBs aren’t very good, so I agree on Wiley having a shot. Tough spot though and it generally takes LBs a year.

Lowe to me because the other promising young guys are still not there physically it seems. I guess Cole Mc can be but Lightfoot and Pickett still look too small.

A true freshman that has never played is better than the most prolific receiver we have had- an all American.

Man I don’t know. We barely used Chris Johnson it’s hard to see Pringle getting carries this year.

To be fair, last years rb room was a lot deeper as Christ Johnson was rb5. Pringle will be fighting for rb3 reps with CWH
