I saw them playing 2 years ago I was like wtf they didn’t look like a high school team, not even a jv team
HML isn't the powerhouse it was in the 60-80s So many schools take their players now Goleman, Mater Lakes, Mater Academy, American HS, Hialeah Gardens, Westland Hialeah, Monsignor Pace, Archbishop McCarthy, Doral Academy.

There not the only ones in the early 2000 teams like Hialeah, coral park, southridge, just of the top my head were stacked now their trash.the thing now is there so many teams the talent is spread out there is few teams that are great but there’s a lot of teams that don’t belong I saw one team that had a girl playing Shortstop,

None of the schools we listed were created until after 2000s. Charter schools and private schools have popped up recently

HML Trojan here.
Class of 80.
So many great Trojan teams during my time, winning 2 state championships during my 3 years. Team was mostly made up of Hialeah kids who grew up together playing Khoury League ball. Also during that era I played on a football program that made it into semifinals in 1978 season and 1977 was top 5 in the state but couldn't get out of district due to stacked Carol City HS which won it all. We also won states in soccer, gymnastics (national champs), golf...national powerhouse hs program.

naw that crap annoys me... I've already seen it with kids my oldest sons age locally here in Miami... holding back in 5/6th grade... baseball wise.. you should be embarrassed almost 20years old playing kids 16 to freshly 18 (like normal seniors)

I seen with all sports wrestling they do it a lot. Basically every sport and majority of the kids that are stars do it I seen freshman that dominate in high school that its like what’s the point of holding them back, but like I said if the kid is thrash he’s going to be trash at 19,20,16 whatever age and if they’re good there good

My niece will graduate from Hog town at 21 in May.
Greg R. is in his second contract with the Bills at like 24.
I could not imagine being that old in high school.
