Our weakness was evident from our last two seasons... i.e. size.
Fix it .. that's all there is.. no one is critcizing Coach L's work so far..

I really don’t think size is our weakness. I go more with depth. Give me another guy like Norchad. If Norchad didn’t have to play with caution because there is nobody else like him. He would be an even bigger problem. Recruit Wong to stay. Replace Miller( not easy) & give me a guy like the Drake big guy that was a transfer from Seton Hall I believe.

I just looked it up and he has indeed entered the Portal. He has 3 years of eligibility he hit for 25 pts against us this year. Kid is a straight out baller. It showed he has 6 schools expressing interest. I’m not the only one who likes this kid really hope he reaches out to us or L is after the kid in some way or manner.

With 2 spots opening up, it feels more and more likely Wong might actually stay. Larranaga can add the final chess pieces to make another legitimate run at a Natl Title. Wong clearly loves Miami basketball, coach L and winning. He may take one final shot at this thing with us if L can show him the vision.

Some "pundits" in their too early top 25 rankings all list Wong for next year. I assume that's because he hasn't said anything, and not that they have inside knowledge, but it would be nice.

Yea I think the only way Wong comes back is if they go out and get a few pieces that gets them over the hump and if Ruiz keeps him happy with his NIL deal.

All 6'8" at minimum. Staff's gotta know that we need a reliable big behind Omier. The Walker at the 5 minutes were a travesty and Casey is more of a 4/5 tweener. Also any teams with two legit bigs always messed us up (Duke, UConn). Will be interesting to see who we want because at this point who wouldn't want to come to Miami for legit PT on a majorly successful program with a beautiful campus as well.
