Happy to see him get drafted. Happy to see him not go to the Knicks.

My very rough dive through my memory suggests he's our fourth highest drafted Cane?

2 - Rick Barry
18 - Shane Larkin
18 - Lonnie Walker
24 - Kyshawn George

Am I missing someone?

Think that’s it. Only other first rounder was Salmons at 26 I believe.

Tim James is the one I remember because he was our first first rounder in forever and he went to the Heat AND I was abroad when it happened and my folks told me about it over the phone, so it was a fun/memorable long distance call. I thought he went higher but apparently he only went 25.

Real happy with Kel’el Ware. I think he has a Derrick lively type impact.

My Magic took the guy from Colorado who lit us up.. Tristan Da Silva. Dude scored 22 with 10 reb and 9 assists... I like the pick at 18!

I'm not someone who follows basketball a lot, so I'd love to get someone's opinion on this, but does sending George, a three-star coming out of high school, to the 1st round of the draft help us recruit the Boozer twins? I'm not super kept up in their recruiting so idk how much interest they have in us.
