Just 10 years ago, you'd have probably 5-7 DBs running in the 4.4s, another 2-3 running in the 4.3s, and if you were lucky, you'd get 1 DB in the 4.2s that would inevitably get drafted high despite suspect film. Now it's like to be a DB in the NFL you HAVE to be sub 4.4

If interested XPE is Tony Villani and Matt Gates. Only had 2 LB’s at the combine and both ran 4.49. Which were top 5 for the position (Williams and Winters) they seem pretty pumped about some of their burners coming up the next few days

To be fair 10 years ago you didn't have as many facilities dedicated to combine prep. Every year now a new facility is popping up.

Yes it is, probably moreso than corner. Brandon Jones doesn't fit Fangio's scheme and Eric Rowe is on his way out. If they can't sign Poyer or CGJ in free agency they're going to draft a safety that can play two-high.
