Agreed, the lower level staff make the initial contact and keep the plan B/C options warm. However, elite recruits like Enow have to know that they're only communicating w/secondary staff and not the primary staff and implicitly their importance to the school's recruiting priorities.Yeah i think the lower level staff lay the ground work to see if we have a legit chance. Cant have the regular coaches wasting time on players who we know ain't coming. Atleast that's how I read it
If a high 4* recruit in a position of need feels like we're one of the main schools recruiting him, IDK why secondary staff is on him. Unless, he's telling the interviewer what he thinks the fans want to hear and its really Michigan, MSU and Stanford in the lead with Alabama on the second tier and we're on the third tier with other schools he didn't mention.
Edit: this could explain why he was frustrated that the offer came in late. He's having to figure out if/where we fit in his top schools list.
