Not every great TE is asked to block.
Name one Great UM TE that couldn't block....I'll wait...Not every great TE is asked to block.
We’d have just lost them all one by one like years pastWe blew our chances with every top prospect the second we lost to MSU and and Virginia. Manny bet on himself and got embarrassed.
Not sure where he rates in terms of great TEs but Graham wasn’t the best.Name one Great UM TE that couldn't block....I'll wait...
He was better than Mallory...and considering he was a Power Foward most of his time at UM...He absolutely shats on Mallory...Not sure where he rates in terms of great TEs but Graham wasn’t the best.

There was absolutely no way after that game that he was coming. Got to give the kid props for doing his due diligence and checking out the product. But how many passes did we complete to a tight end on that game.
We made too easy for him.

You're out of your mind...KW was probably our best blocking TE....His block against Tennessee where he absolutely Destroyed two defenders is Legendary....Not only that...he was one of the best ST players ever in his early yrs...Kellen Winslow was a pass catching TE that wasn't a great blocker, neither was Jimmy Graham.

Receiver coach teaches receiving and line coach teaches blocking. Field is a recruiter and that’s itMallory hasn’t developed at all. Under this regime. I know Field gets recruiting cool points, and for being the former SFL HS coach that has street cred in liberty city, but he’s been underwhelming so far as a coach.
Of course that could also be more of a byproduct of the Manny cultural effect but not sure why he still gets such a pass re: on field coaching.
