Amp was not the most "athletic" player. A bit stiff. But ... he was a pretty consistent producer on the court for us and that's what counts. He deserved the minutes he got.

I'm actually pretty excited about this (1 in 3) possibility of Dover's Rafael Castro. If he really just popped to 6'10 he may be growing even taller, and for a tall man he has some bulk and and a lot of coordinated athletic skill in the reels (at least compared to Rodney and Deng.)

I'm rooting and hoping hard for this pick, and roll!

Poplar had offers from LSU, Auburn, Maryland, Georgetown, Marquette, etc

Joseph had offers from Georgetown, Iowa, Marquette, Providence, Penn st, etc.

The list for Rivals150 forward Rafael Castro continues to shrink.

After another cut, only Dayton, Miami and Providence remain for the 6-foot-9 forward from Dover (N.J.) High who currently ranks No. 136 overall in the class of 2021.

A thin and energetic four man who rebounds, runs the floor and has offensive upside, Castro is a nice developmental prospect who really came onto the scene as a junior and then saw his stock rise during this last summer.

In my opinion, neither could start at the 5 next season but either could be a really good player after a redshirt year.
