2020 RB Cartavious "Tank" Bigsby receives offer

Tank Bigsby. Now that's a football name. Or a **** star. Both fine choices.

Great player.
Honestly not worried if he doesn’t want in. Just like db’s there are plenty of rb’s down here. Would absolutely love to have him on our squad.
But plenty elite rb’s never made a team win a chip.
AP, Fournett, Barkley, Cook, Sony etc.
D$ tells no lies. We don’t need to go oos for a back.

lets hope this is just for show and they don't waste to much of their time and resources on a kid that will 100% be bought by UGA, Bama, Aub or LSU.

Completely different circumstances, Deejay wasn't being recruited as a RB out of HS, he was being recruited as a WR/QB. In fact we didn't recruit him as a RB either, he only changed to RB after we had other WR's in the fold.

Plus, if you're expecting multiple high rated kids in Georgia to take the Deejay route in recruitment, then I got Beach house property in Alaska for sale for you.

Deejay is rare, he's an exception to the rule, not the rule. Most 4/5-star prospects in Georgia are taking SEC money & we realistically are not going to get most of them.

And because maybe you don't remember, wanna take a wild guess what school Deejay originally committed to back in 2015?

Happens more often you think

Just in metro Atlanta alone you are 2 hours or so from clemson, 1 hour 15 minutes from Auburn, 1 hour from uga, 2:30 minutes or so from bama . Tennessee 3-4 hours away.
So that’s multiple sec schools that are within A manageable area in terms of travels for families in this area. Which is why a large amount of Georgia prospects do go to these schools.

To put that in to perspective the next big school from Miami is 4:45 -5 hours away(Uf)
 
Speaking speed only Good is far superior. Bigsby's best 100m- this year 11.31. Good 10.63.

I think we start winning more of these battles as we show results on the field. Getting to the ACCCG and being competitive with Clemson this year will go a long way. At the very least, it knocks Saban, Smart, Mullen, Taggart & Co off their game plan with South Florida recruits, forces them to defend their own territory. You don't need a lot of Michael Jacksons and Deejay Dallases to make the natives restless asking for more attention from their local SEC school.

Maybe I missed it LCE, but what class? Impressive list of offers. Even with the Richt GA connection, we still don't have much of a chance? He's looks more like a Masarati than a tank!
