They are definitely chasing him. They shouldn’t offer him and I never said they did offer him.

There are hundreds of guys ranked higher than him and he isn’t exactly a diamond in the rough seeing as where he played his football.

Reaching out to Gage Gaynor and this guy late are the coaching staff chasing late and there is no way to spin it.

Just watched his HUDL film.....saw 5 or 6 pancakes, pulls out and leads the sweep, gets out and blocks LB's. What's everyone else seeing?

Just so we are clear. FSU so far as kept offensive tackle Lloyd Willis out of Killian Miami (139th player in Florida) with no Miami offer and processed OG Alex Atcavage (238th players in Florida) out of IMG academy.

This guy didn’t get a sniff from Miami until now and FSU values a guy from Killian as someone to keep over him. If the staff is going to scramble late the least they could do is throw out garbage interest and garbage offers to local recruits early instead of this mess.

I’m sure as ****e not over the moon by what’s going down at our beloved U, but some people are going full ****** & basking in our mediocrity. I mean seriously, they are kicking the tires on a bunch of dudes.

Yes some will absolutely turn out to be bums, but at this point they have cornered themselves into turning over every stone in order to piecemeal at cohesive Oline. It’s their fackin job let’s just assess this all post NSD & figure out what Manuel has in store for Spring ball.

****e is Bleak already. Zero need to add to the misery unnecessarily.
 
Not a take on name alone, if he changed to Atsavage he's 5*, AA before he played a snap smh missed opportunity

Chasing a Recruit would be do everything to sign him... I do not consider scheduling a visit to be chasing a Recruit. We were chasing Justin Flowe and Greene not this guy

Yeah some people are acting we offered this guy a scholarship 1 million dollars and a starting job as a freshman lol. All were doing is scheduling a visit

Kicking the tires on a bunch of dudes horribly late is my problem. I'd rather them kick the tires on every offensive linemen within a 100 miles early then late go dumpster diving hoping to find someone that got looked over. And just so everyone is clear, guys at IMG processed out of a trash FSU offensive line class shouldn't fall into the "we discovered this guy" list like Zion Nelson. This staff is panicking late because they went for broke on the top dogs, whiffed hard, and didn't have a backup plan. They are formulating that plan 12/16/2019 instead of having local plan C and D guys on the hook. This reeks of desperation and recruits know it.

Agree.

This is aprox the 10th year in a row that we are beyond late in the game looking to “build relationships” with JAGs & B/C/D level dudes at critical positions of need that we aren’t able to coach up regardless.

It’s become par the course throughout the last several administrations.

I get it & it blows chunks, but they’ve got to keep digging. As long as they’re not handling out scholies to bonafide bums to fill out this class I’ll take a wait & see approach.

We gave up 10 sacks in game 1 and 9 in game 12. And, his recruiting is a total disaster. He should be shown the door immediately. Mediocre technical coach at best who can’t recruit. He has no business as the OL coach at Miami.
