No, because then the program doesn’t need to offer him a scholarship... they can use it on someone who is not willing to walk on...

Tell me one reason y he’s not worth of a scholarship bc he don’t care bout camps or stars ur too worried bout stars and this and that I guarantee u he ends up in the class as one of the LB spots

I am not a scout or coach... just a casual fan who graduated from the U and follow my team. I am not qualified to judge the talent level of an athlete.

My point is just that if I go to buy a car and the dealer says I’ll give you the car for free, the car gets undervalued. That’s all.

Nothing against the kid... and wish the best for him and his family.
 
I saw him win his state championship this year. Kid looks great on the mat. Hard to say there is a future in either sport professionally, but it's higher in football. Teams do a bad job in general of looking at wrestlers. Lakeland had a SC heavyweight, but I don't know how much attention he's gotten.

Not fast for LB but put some weight on him and move him to DE.. that is old Cane methods, move speed forward.

Not explosive enough?? This kid took two RPO’s to the house. One for 50 yards, one for 40. He doesn’t have the best instincts but he has no shortage of athleticism.
 
He will be at the Paradise Camp June 22. Because of wrestling he has never been to a football camp until last year. He has heard he looks stiff basically the coach want him to turn his hips over better in coverage. He took wrestling off this summer to work with a high level coach on opening his hips and back pedaling, coverage and Lifting to put more size on. Never heard anyone say anything about twitchy. He has made a lot of improvement. They love his explosion and athleticism. Maybe playing both ways hurt his chances or playing two sports. He never had a chance to just focus just on LB but he is a team player and wouldn't have it any other way. He also Long snaps, QB, MLB and Special teams. He would love to play for Miami but walking on is not an option. To much $. Hopefully it works out if not we will still be hurricane Fans!!

He should definately have FCS offers at a minimum. I doubt he has to walk on anywhere. After Paradise take him by FIU.
